The problem is that everyone on the left is calling for outright bans while at the same time shouting to defund the police. As long as the LEOs of this country aren't constitutionally required to put themselves in danger for their community, there is not an inch on gun control I will be okay with. If the cops aren't required to protect me and the ones I love, I should have any and all means necessary to do it my own damned self.

This. Hate the mentality that we should just accept kids dying horrible, violent deaths in an elementary school. The world is violent and there is no protecting everyone but we should at least make an effort to protect little kids.

Simply throwing vague solutions like "this country should turn back to God" does nothing. That is a multi generational solution.

(Body armor?) I don't remember seeing it but can't say for certain.
(Any connection to church?) At one point, she was a student at that school but unsure what year.
(Was a fire alarm pulled?) Don't remember a fire alarm going off.
(Side door locked?) There was a door that was entered; all doors were locked to our understanding; how she got in is still under investigation

Chris Swecker, former FBI, on FNC said his sources indicate she shot up the church before heading into school. Custodian was killed in church part.

Says dozens if not hundreds of rounds popped off in the church.

This is starting to remind me of the Colorado shooting. Very little info was released about the shooter who we later learned was a dude who identified as "non-binary" and used "they/them" pronouns. This "gender identify" and "gender theory" is mind rot. We need to end it now. Guns may be protected by the second amendment, but sowing gender and sexual confusion among children is not protected.

Churches and schools must have reliable and professional armed security. It's just the world we live in today.

If this ends of being a guy who the press called a "woman" I'm going to lose my mind. If a society can't honestly differentiate men from women, it sure can't protect it's children.
