Private faith based school ending at 6th grade and just over 200 students is not likely to have an SRO or any other trained / armed security.

In this instance, it may not have even made a difference. Former FBI referenced earlier made the point about the casualties were all fatal. Not sure if that has changed but leaving no wounded indicates some level of adeptness or planning. Indicates that, but it may be they were just very effective in their shooting.

I've been invited to speak at a couple of schools in the last year and they both had high security. One large school and one small. I couldn't even access the halls. I was met by local police or school police each time. EVERY school should do all they can to protect our kids.

I don't doubt that. I'm still on my 24 hour rule.

For as long as I can remember, dancing has been her passion in life and has even gotten into choreographing a few dances herself. When she's in her element it is best to let her do her thing. We have won several ballroom dancing competitions since we were kids, unfortunately life kind of took over for me with work, school and this Knight thing that I'm still trying to figure out that I don't really have much time to allocate towards practicing. I know she's disappointed but she doesn't seem to hate me for it.

As long as the LEOs of this country aren't constitutionally required to put themselves in danger for their community, there is not an inch on gun control I will be okay with. We seem really good about saying what we won't do....but no one seems to be working toward what we can. What we can do to deter gun violence and illegal possession of firearms is to actually enforce the laws on the books and not let everyone out of jail. Get caught illegally carrying a firearm, mandatory 3yrs. Using a firearm in the commission of a crime, mandatory 15yrs. Actually firing a firearm and causing bodily harm, mandatory 25yrs. Killing someone with a firearm, life. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. You've proven that you cannot function in normal society, so you will never step foot amongst normal society again.

There are plenty of simple solutions, Democrats repeatedly reject them
- Stop making schools gun free zones
- Lets teachers carry

Democrats oppose these at every level.
the only people not working towards "what we can" are democrats.
Logically, again, the only explanation is that they would rather have kids killed so that they can enact their political aim for gun control.

Look at the press conferences today, lots of talk about "gun control", nothing about mental illness and arming teachers.

Banning guns is the only solution the Left/Dems will accept. That is the reason there is no dialogue about what to do. Conservatives have ideas, but the Left isn't interested in mitigating the problem. They want to disarm the public and gun hysteria is their way to do it. If it doesn't advance gun confiscation/bans they aren't interested.
