I'm using it to convert all my code from objective c to c#.

I'll say, its code very rarely works the first time.

It seems they are locking down 3.5 further with each passing day. Lots of error responses. That was to be expected I suppose. It was fun while it lasted.

I tried using it to write a SharePoint webpart that would display gitlab issue tickets. It's a complete fail so far with references to incompatible libraries etc…. It's a compulsive liar and will make stuff up when you push it too far.

Can you load your own datbase of documents in it and have it locate and sort and spit out summaries, combinations, or common citations?
That's what gpt4 beta can supposedly do. That will be another game changer

An information aggregator that finds the most common or frequent or highly rated answers to its questions and then compiled it into a response is a step towards AI but it isn't an AI which is something that can independently synthesize new information. That being said, it's close enough to have some of the same effects, both positive and negative.

My concern is the Chinese attempting their best at an AI managed state and basically integrating an AI mind into their planning and social credit system and letting it loose to try and "optimize" their communism.

I am curious as to how shady salesmen (such as phone telemarketers) could use this technology to scam consumers.

But more importantly, how an average consumer could use it to foil their sales pitches on everything from new and used cars to household goods, appliances, etc.

Can you just ask it for the best deal on a used SUV, or the cheapest price on laundry detergent delivered to your door?

if you haven't seen https://beta.elevenlabs.io/ - it's the real direction phone scammers are going to go. There are real-time voice changers out there, but it's in it's infancy. ElevenLabs are amazing.

This has been my experience as well. It doesn't live up to the hype IMO.

Stuff shocks me every day. BlueWillow AI text to image. I just saw this done. Whoever was doing spent 6 or seven tries refining the prompt to just what they wanted. It's on discord so you can see the prompts as they come through. This is a photo of a person that does not exist.

ultrarealistic, ultra realistic, photo, realistic, girl, teenager, She has straight, blond hair and hazel eyes. She's of average height and build. Olivia is a studious and analytical member of the group. She's always looking for rational explanations for the strange occurrences they face. She's logical, cautious, and level-headed. Olivia's analytical approach often helps the group make sense of what's happening, but it can also make her seem cold or distant., 8k

What do you think the runtime is for one of those things? How long does it take to recharge one of its battery packs?

I'm sure they can design it such that the batteries can be swapped out easily, but still, bi-pedal robots are terribly inefficient power hogs. They require too much extra power just to maintain balance while they move.

The lower limit is around the amount of power that it takes us to maintain balance while we move around.

The lower limit of the amount of energy required for a bipedal robot to maintain balance while moving around would be at about the amount of energy required for humans to maintain balance while we move around.

I'm not saying they're there yet, but as the hardware and software is improved they will approach that lower limit.

But that's still wasted power, a quad would be more efficient.

There's a lot of situations where a quadruped would be the best design, but the advantage of a humanoid form is that it can easily fit into our society. A quadruped that size would be a nuisance in many situations working along side humans.
