As a conservative? Whatever dude.
Starbucks came to the bargaining table. SWU treated the negotiations like a press event.
This isn't about the workers for SWU, it's about a social movement. As they get closer to facing a decertification, the union will give up their demands just to have a contract, even if the terms are worse than what they had before.
And as a conservative, you should not be in favor of labor cartels.
You need to watch this weeks episode of South Park.Kenneth_2003 said:
I can't imagine the mental anguish those weak wristed losers must feel.
The absolute sense of overwhelming entitlement to think you deserve union representation to make coffee is astounding.

Wrong. Starbucks is a woke leftist company that funnels massive amounts of money into left wing causes. If those profits get funneled back into the workers and out of leftist causes, or even better, if the company goes under because of the horrid leftist policies the company pushes, that's a win for conservatives.

Sure, some of the Union dues will go to Dem politicians, but if the employees force the company into higher wages, less in aggregate will go to Dem causes. Corporate America has gone woke. Maybe if conservatives stopped taking the side of corporations fiscally all the time, corporations would stop crapping on conservatives all the time.

I will continue my boycott of Starbucks. Not for the Union wanna-bes, but cause they are left coast leftist organization who sells expensive coffee.

I get that unionization is anathema, but the conservative coalition is too small now to have more than the occasional national victory each decade. So you have to find ways to fracture the progressive coalition.
No, conservatives aren't going to win any votes from the baristas, but by supporting Starbucks unionization, you take money out of the TrevorProject and ActBlue and put it into the pockets of a few union bosses and employees.
But the beauty of "supporting the union" (and where is the party fracking comes in) is that the Democrats aren't the party of unions any more. They're the party of Larry Fink and BlackRock. Big Wallstreet is going to fight tooth and nail against unionization.
So as conservatives, sit this one out, and support the side that hurts the progressive coalition the most. I with the Starbuck Union!

Starbucks revenue will decrease by 30% over the next 3 years. They expanded way too far in last 5 years for this crap and their crap coffee to continue to flourish.
