I don't really know Denzel's politics, but he has been in some great movies and is a hell of an actor.
The Hurricane is one of my all time favorites. Denzel is a badass actor.
Black Panther is really right wing. Wakanda is a hereditary monarchy decided by trial by combat. Your synopsis gets a chute, but it's true too. When the dad tells the daughter he's loved her despite her mistakes and draws the monster away from her got me good. Fantastic movie that I entered assuming it would be one of the dumbest movies ever

Dante's Peak is incredibly right wing. Brosnan tries to warn a bunch of useless government bureaucrats the volcano is gonna blow up in an attempt to save the town. After the volcano blows up Brosnan personally saves the town by driving up to the top of the volcano and shooting it with his Walther PPK; killing the volcano instantly.
