I like how he's all buddies with the doctor but when he's had enough of the sniveling, he just drops the hammer about his hobbies.

I'll submit Cinderella Man. A guy that loves America, gets knocked on his ass, fights his way back and pays back his debts. All while raising a great family.

One of the extremely few actors I just somehow can't separate the actor from the role. I promise I try to not let politics color my entertainment but I am but human I guess and can't stand De Niro and ergo, can't stand his productions. Guess there is some invisible line I have of how outspoken an actor/actress are in their politics and their work.

It has good quotes, though, and the fight scene at the end is pretty cool, but it's kind of boring to rewatch.

Agreed. Which is a shame because I would normally like his movies but because of how he is in real life I can't stand him. Although I will say his final scene in the Joker was pretty good though. I could watch that over and over again.
