It's more than that, though. With the genealogy aspect, the sadistic serial killer model looks to be unworkable (unless, maybe you had a serial killer from some insular community whose members don't upload their DNA to commercial platforms, or maybe the product of a truly closed adoption where the DNA would likely indicate who mom and dad were, but all the efforts to find the actual person would come up as a dead end).

That was reported, but not confirmed by the police (Idaho cops, at least).

You are right, exiting the US there are cameras and license plate readers. If the feds are looking for a certain plate the readers can flag it and they can stop the car before exit. Coming back through the walking pedestrian lane it is all facial recognition stuff now.

To ditch a car in Mex the best bet would be to change the plates and arrange for it to disappear once across. Then likely travel within Mex to another POE and make entry via walking back or pay a coyote to cross you back.

I keep seeing comparisons like this but honestly, he looks nothing like Lanza. He looks perfectly normal. I think people really NEED for killers to look scary because it's frightening to think any normal-looking person we know could be a cold-blooded killer.

But I do disagree with you. Ij those two particular photographs, they do, coincidentally, look similar. I don't think there really is any denying that

Some of the other pictures I have seen of the Idaho suspect do not favor Lanza

Based on my experience in recovery ministries I'd say about 60% of all males ages 17-60 are closet porn addicts. Yes it's that pervasive.

I don't think its the actual violence that is intriguing, at least for me. I think it's the idea that the human mind can vary THAT much between people and the types of depths humanity is capable of. For me, it's really only interesting from the perspective of understanding extreme human outliers. Of course the subject matter is horrible, but that's not what's "interesting" about it.

The interesting part for me is the connection between the accused and the victims. Even if it was just randomness, what put them in the path of their fate?

I've also heard that that house was creaky. Did he get there early and wait? Did he get there and enter after they got back? Were the two downstairs just lucky and he didn't know they were home?

WSU was 8 miles away. College students are really Street-stupid about trusting and giving away personal information.
