SIAP but have they released the original 911 call?
No but they said it came from one of the roommates' phones but they won't say who made it. Ethan's mom said he had plans with a friend that day so it may have been him?aggiehawg said:

As I said before I don't know they may have already been home they may have been somewhere else and come home after the murders or before them. Their area was downstairs, it was completely disconnected from where the murders took place.MsDoubleD81 said:
Aware of the food truck, etc. I was just curious where the other 2 were. Could they have come into contact with a bad seed and they were actually the targets. Also, why are police looking for footage between 3 and 6 am? Seems like they'd want something as well when they all arrived home.

Possible connection to a similar murder in Oregon? If true then this has to be a serial killer.
Going to be really really hard to catch the guy if he is specifically choosing rural areas like this and if he is able to get in and out without anyone noticing.

Smart phones also make serial killing harder. They can track everywhere a killer has been while the phone was ont heir person.

Keeps getting stranger by the minute. Wouldn't they have seen blood??
That's part of the problem I had with blood seen outside on the wall as if it pooled and then impacted some joint. If they were sleeping, it would seem the mattress, boxspring, and bedding could soak up a lot of it. Depending on how many times stabbed and depth, the blood would naturally pool at the bottom of the body unless there was a puncture (or multiple) all the way through.MsDoubleD81 said:
So does the blood just dissappear?

Would the killer have locked the door behind him so they were banging on it trying to wake the person up? It is very odd.
Very interesting fact...I never knew those 2 schools were so close to each other.LegalDrugPusher said:aggiehawg said:
Moscow Idaho has a population of slightly less than 26,000. Likely a pretty small police force, county authorities combined would still be a small force. And that sounds like the type of crime scene they have never seen before.
I have serious doubts this was a lone killer.
Pullman Washington where Washington state is right across the border like 8 miles away
That was the father of the girl who had the boyfriend sleeping over. My assumption is she was awoken when the killer murdered the boy thus giving her a slight opportunity to fight back where as the other girls were alone and just murdered in their sleep.Tony Franklins Other Shoe said:
Heating oil. That is way better than the initial sketchy reports. Also, an early interview with one of the fathers said there were defensive wounds on one of the girls, forget which one was his daughter so that is even more violent struggle as you point out.
I think I said this before, but this isn't the movies where a stab wound makes people die immediately. This has to be thrashing, flailing chaos. Complete mess. Lots of details are still under wraps.
