This has been debated for a while There were two bedrooms on each floor, and people have assumed two survivors were on the bottom, but for those following the case, it has always been known that there was a room on the second floor and it was possible that one of the survivors was there. That has turned out to be true.

That description is pretty vague and probably fits 25% or more of all young males in the two communities.

Her identification is that he was masked, had bushy eyebrows, and was slender. Not a lot of specifics.

I think they were probably sleeping in the same room. Kaylee was moving out, so may not have had her bed setup, or maybe just wanted to sleep in her best friend's bed. Put the dog in her room, and then went and jumped in bed with Maddie.

They may have been the second confirmation DNA sample.

Even when genetic genealogy points out a suspect, police typically get another sample to confirm.

She was frozen in terror, according to the affidavit. She said she heard tears and crying. So still perplexing the 6-7 hour delay before coming out.

I am not a psychlogist and have never been a what must have been a terrifying, it is possible someone could be so frozen from fear they would hole up in their room that long? Or she really was drunk and passed out after that happened?

It's a big mystery, but to me doesn't really matter. All the cell phone data and the DNA, the knife sheath as the source and the match to the father's DNA in the family trash in Pennsylvania... he's caught. Don't need the eye witness information.

A sheath is usually attached to your body. People typically use one to free up your hands. I think it was ripped off and he didn't realize it during the struggles. After which, it was too late to retrieve it?
