Another leftist sock account.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Where's it say that in the constitution?

I just find it funny that someone is mad that the dems are making a political stunt over what is unquestionably a Republican political stunt.
Because the Dems threaten actual legal consequences when they should take the L and not be so bad with their policies.

This is yet another misstep by Dems with regard to this story. While I think we'll see a court grant them standing (there's a reason we sent the islamists to Cuba) nobody but the most radical thinks they SHOULD have standing to sue. Worse still they're suing a governor that's very well spoken and will clearly explain the absurdity of this suit. This action by Abbott and now DeSantis has forced the Dems to talk about illegal immigration day and night even to the point of lying about the border being secure when clearly it's not or we wouldn't be here.

TLDR the Dems need this story to go away and this will do exactly the opposite.

Well let's see. Maybe because as the chief executive he should use taxpayer money to benefit Floridians instead of paying for chartered flights for poor migrants between two states that are not Florida? Maybe he could look to paying teachers instead? That would be a start.

So the misuse of taxpayer dollars is what upsets you?

That doesn't really answer what makes it a stunt to send people to places who have officially sanctioned themselves as welcoming towards them.

Or maybe DeSantis is smart enough to know that long term it will save the citizens of his state money by forcing these sanctuary cities/states actually have to start bearing some of the cost of enforcement/security costs plus feeding/educating/providing healthcare for larger share of illegals. If they are forced to pay for these folks out of their state funds they might quit supporting these stupid, self-defeating immigration policies.

If the Democrat led blue states want to pontificate about the supposed virtues of open borders from their vacuous moral high ground, they should at least have a little more skin in the game.

If it exposes the hypocrisy of the blue state Democrats, so much the better.

Note the faux libtard outrage. Where was it when 50 migrants died in a hot trailer tractor or 10 drown in the Rio Grande. And note how all 5 libtards on this board act in unison with the same idiotic talking points.

In reality, they are being used as pawns by the Democrats in an obvious full court press against DeSantis. Why else would they be screaming so loud 24/7, calling on the DOJ to arrest DeSantis and Abbott for "human trafficking", running endless hit pieces, and having a sheriff in Texas threatening criminal charges.

It will be interesting to see who their lawyer(s) is

Oh no! The people that were being used as pawns by Republicans are now being used as pawns by Democrats! This can not stand!!!

What you are looking for is 42 U.S. Code Section 1981
Quote:

All persons within the jurisdiction of the United States shall have the same right in every State and Territory to make and enforce contracts, to sue, be parties, give evidence, and to the full and equal benefit of all laws and proceedings for the security of persons and property as is enjoyed by white citizens, and shall be subject to like punishment, pains, penalties, taxes, licenses, and exactions of every kind, and to no other.
They have the rights. I am not saying they were violated in this instance, but the rights exist and attach the moment they enter the jurisdiction of the United States.
