Pelosi denied 2 of the 5 nominations, not all of them. Why didn't McCarthy just pick two others to replace Jim Jordan and Jim Banks? Even Trump criticized him for not doing so.twk said:You don't learn anything from a show-trial where no one is challenging the evidence. I read summaries of what happens in the committee, and every alleged bombshell that they come up with ends up being full of holes. If they really wanted to investigate January 6, you'd start with finding out why Pelosi rejected Trump's offer of the National Guard; why the Capitol Hill police were so unprepared; why the police let protesters in; what paid informants were among the mob that entered the building; etc, none of which will be touched upon in this dog and pony show.
Reagan, please…every day, Not the (losing) Donald Trump party.91AggieLawyer said:New World Ag said:There were widespread calls for bipartisan investigations immediately after 1/6, but most Republicans backed off after getting pressured by Trump and his supporters. Post links to these so-called "bipartisan investigations" calls, please.
As far as the "party (you) grew up with," what the hell party are you talking about? The (losing) Goldwater Party? The (losing) Gerald Ford party? Because it IS behaving more like the (winning) Reagan party.
Besides, if you're not a conservative, which it appears you aren't, why would any conservative WANT the Republican party you desire?

Well obviously this means that she has to run for president. Because she's definitely got a shot right? Wouldn't have anything to do with grifting for campaign donations or anything like that.
She'll be back; just as George P Bush, Chelsea Clinton, Al Gore Jr., or Andrew Cuomo these 2nd and 3rd etc. generation political swamp family creatures love a microphone and a camera above all else.APHIS AG said:
She has gone to the Democrats to vote for her and the head of the Democrats in Wyoming stated that they do not have the votes to support her.
She is finished!!!
Pelosi denied two choices, and put 2 supposed members of the Republican caucus on the committee with her picks. That is unprecedented. Never in the history of the House has a Speaker tried to corrupt the process the way Nancy did. It would have been stupid to lend credence to her witch hunt if she insists on dictating the terms. There is no defending what Pelosi did. None.New World Ag said:Pelosi denied 2 of the 5 nominations, not all of them. Why didn't McCarthy just pick two others to replace Jim Jordan and Jim Banks?
