All you need to know about what Lizzie is doing is remember the video of her dad, the former VP and was supposedly the most hated Republican politician by the Dems being embraced by Pelosi and the rest of the Dems on the J6 anniversary.

That was surreal indeed. Those who remember the W era know that Dick Cheney was the person most hated by the Left, Democrats and the MSM (but that is repeating myself) ever before the TDS of Trump. He, not Bush himself, was the reason for the first syndrome -- BDS.

It does say alot. Not much good.

If you think what she's doing on the committee is right, then you have no sense of right and wrong at all. This Stalin-esque show trial is a complete travesty, and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Cheney will get a little bit of justice served to her on primary day, but nothing like she deserves.
There were widespread calls for bipartisan investigations immediately after 1/6, but most Republicans backed off after getting pressured by Trump and his supporters. It's no trial, it's a congressional investigation where the vast majority of the testimony is coming from members of Trump's administration. If you haven't seen any testimony that makes your hair stand on end, that's on you...but like many posters in this forum, you haven't paid any attention to the hearings, so why would I expect you to have learned anything from them?

Post links to these so-called "bipartisan investigations" calls, please.

As far as the "party (you) grew up with," what the hell party are you talking about? The (losing) Goldwater Party? The (losing) Gerald Ford party? Because it IS behaving more like the (winning) Reagan party.

Besides, if you're not a conservative, which it appears you aren't, why would any conservative WANT the Republican party you desire?

Liz is too busy setting up to interview the cousin of a janitor who was third on the scene to clean up after AOC spilled coffee in an adjacent building because she was terrified of protesters.

You don't learn anything from a show-trial where no one is challenging the evidence. That's what Pelosi wanted, so she vetoed McCarthy's choices for the Republican members of the committee, an unprecedented move in the history of the House. It is a complete sham of hearsay testimony from biased witnesses that is never challenged because that's the way Pelosi wanted it. I read summaries of what happens in the committee, and every alleged bombshell that they come up with ends up being full of holes. This is only convincing the gullible or the folks who are so convinced that Trump is guilty of every evil deed imaginable: which of those describes you?

If they really wanted to investigate January 6, you'd start with finding out why Pelosi rejected Trump's offer of the National Guard; why the Capitol Hill police were so unprepared; why the police let protesters in; what paid informants were among the mob that entered the building; etc, none of which will be touched upon in this dog and pony show.
Pelosi denied 2 of the 5 nominations, not all of them. Why didn't McCarthy just pick two others to replace Jim Jordan and Jim Banks? Even Trump criticized him for not doing so.

She'll be back; just as George P Bush, Chelsea Clinton, Al Gore Jr., or Andrew Cuomo these 2nd and 3rd etc. generation political swamp family creatures love a microphone and a camera above all else.

I still think she will wind up trying to become VP Cheney part II, this time as a Democrat, in 2024.

How fascinating it could be if her dad talks/introduces her at the DNC? If there's one person the left has hated more than W or Trump this century, it was Dick.

Pelosi denied two choices, and put 2 supposed members of the Republican caucus on the committee with her picks. That is unprecedented. Never in the history of the House has a Speaker tried to corrupt the process the way Nancy did. It would have been stupid to lend credence to her witch hunt if she insists on dictating the terms. There is no defending what Pelosi did. None.
