I think by November, women will see all the hysteria of the Left was overblown.
You've got to be kidding. Abortion has been a hot topic for women ever since Roe v Wade was made the law of the land.
I tend to agree with the OP - mostly. My take is this. Before today the big, and I mean HUGE, issue was the economy. And that issue resonates (resonated, now?) across party lines. But today's ruling gives the Dems/Libs (especially women) another HUGE issue, that IMO will change the dynamic in Dem/Lib states.
Up to now pundits and politicians (even a lot of Dems) have been predicting a Red Wave in Nov, expecting the GOP to take both Houses by a large majority. The Presidency? Who knows, Biden's a disaster, but Trump is losing a lot support now. So, who knows at this point?
Back to the predicted "Red Wave" - I highly doubt that will happen now. Lib states will still vote Libs in because of today's ruling and GOP states will still vote in Republicans. I still think the GOP will take both houses, but it will be far from a "Red Wave". And the outcome of the vote for President will be dictated by who runs - in both parties.
It's a two issue race now in Lib states. And I think all the posters who don't think abortion is a huge deal are wrong. It really is.
