Hey TexAgs, it's 2022, so repeat with me!
"Sexuality is not a choice."
Nobody is choosing to be gay, especially when they're still constantly discriminated against and misunderstood (this board being a prime example) and only got marriage rights equal to you and me less than a decade ago. Why would anyone actively choose that?
No matter how close-minded you may be, your kid isn't going to be gay because he went and saw this movie. Don't like it? Don't take them. And if your child thinks two men kissing is weird or gross, it's probably because you made him think that. We're not born to hate; it's learned. But God forbid if two men kissing is labeled as 'grooming'. You guys are truly concerned about some of the most inane stuff.
I'm sorry that your worldview is crashing down around you as you slowly realize that yes, minorities of all kind do exist, have a voice, and want equal representation and rights.

You sound really concerned one of your kids might be influenced to "choose" to be gay.
Why are you so concerned about that? Are LGBT not treated as well as straight people or something?
I wonder if there are any social issues where the far left agrees with the CCP. Can anyone help me out?S540841 said:

As a sexual preference, IMO homosexuality is mostly genetic. I say mostly, because I believe sexuality is a spectrum, most humans are 90+ % hetero or 90+% homo - and for eons the homosexual portion has been about 3.5 % give or take.ActualTalkingThermos said:
People who think being gay is a choice, could you choose to be gay, if you wanted to? If not, that's not something you have control over, so why do you assume other people do? And if you could, have you ever considered the possibility that other people couldn't no matter how much they wanted to - that is to say, straight people do exist and you just don't happen to be one of them?
There are lots of LOLs in this one, but bolded takes the cake.SRCag18 said:

Except diversity isn't actually a strength. Members of protected classes should absolutely be hired, if they are the most qualified candidate. And more melanin in your skin, not having a Y chromosome or any of the other inclusion metrics doesn't make that person better at their job. Want to make sure they're in the running? Great. May the best candidate win, and that's best for the company.SRCag18 said:
Workplaces promote diversity as a strength, and for that to happen, minorities need to be hired.
"Quotas" aren't necessary for straight people, white people, etc., since they're the majority.
Stop with the "woe is me, I'm a straight white male and every minority wants more than what I have" attitude.
Everybody worried about being overtaken by a minority of race, sexuality, or otherwise is very telling. It means you know how poorly minorities are treated and you don't want the same for yourself.
I too, love my Disney movies to star coke dealers!Funky Winkerbean said:

Ok so the current Buzz Lightyear movie is an origin story - but the reason the character became so beloved is because of what @ofctimallen created. Why remove the one element that makes us want to see it?#stupidHollywooddecisions https://t.co/bRn1lZgkac

So there's a gay kiss and a castration scene in this thing?StandUpforAmerica said:Ok so the current Buzz Lightyear movie is an origin story - but the reason the character became so beloved is because of what @ofctimallen created. Artificial or biological, you still need a wang to make it happen which said wife shouldn't havehelloimustbegoing said:I haven't seen the film, but since artificial insemination exists in present society, I'm going to assume that in a film where there is interstellar travel, they have probably developed a similar technology.DDub74 said:
After one of Buzz's next testing runs, he returns to find that Alisha is quite visibly pregnant. How Alisha is pregnant, given the fact that she's married to a woman, is never explained.

If it's not a choice what is it? I don't doubt that their are biological factors, but if it were 100% biological wouldn't gays have died out thousands of years ago since they can't procreate?ActualTalkingThermos said:
