Not to mention she's gets pregnant. How that's possible? Or why that needs to be explained in a kids movie is stupid.

Seriously this should be an option for a Disney subscription.

IF NOBODY watched it here they would be forced to make same version. But Disney knows people will still pay their subscription and still go to the theater.

Nothing but indoctrination.
This is not needed, nor wanted, in a CHILDREN'S film.

These aren't the same characters.
Tim Allen voiced the toy. Chris Evans voices the Astronaut that the toy was based on.

If I could do the Leroy Jethro Gibbs stare through a message board, this is where I'd do it.

Go for it.
Disney had no problem firing Gina Carino and saying it. People will still flock to watch The Mandalorian.
Tim Allen is not afraid to say things and he never once mentioned he was fired. You think he wouldn't say it if it was true?
The real test will be who is seeing it this weekend on wether this is a flop. Not a lot of kids movies lately, so despite mediocre reviews, it will probably make money as parents seek relief from the heat wave across much of America.

Why would the cartoon toy character have a different voice from the cartoon "real" character?

Because he sounds a lot older than he did 25 years ago?
The real life lightyear is dead?
Toys often don't have the actual person it is based on voice it?
I do think it is because he sounds older and Buzz is younger and more youthful than Tim is now.
Or stick with him being fired and never saying anything.
