Let me assure you that much of this is BS. I have no doubt some certain elements of this story are accurate though, but oher parts are not. No agents in Texas haven approached by the company and asked to promote this rubbish.

I will be asking my agent about this.

So State Farm being so inclusive and welcoming and all, do you think if you tell your agent you identify as a woman or are transitioning from man to woman they will lower your auto coverage rate?
BREAKING: @StateFarm sent out a mass email to their staff today stating “we will no longer support that program” after they were exposed for supporting a project to push LGBTQ books into schools.

It's a pretty easy business to move - and I'm assuming at least 30% of my collective premiums are going to gross profits. If I feel confident about the company and agent I'm moving to - I could make that shift.
The problem in most of these cases (like banking) is finding one that isn't bending the knee to liberalism

Doesn't matter if it "isn't going on here" - it's being endorsed by the D&I group (or was) and therefore the Company. She had to walk it back with a non-apology apology. They aren't sorry they did it, they are sorry they were caught.Quote:
I'm not, I know for a fact. Again, I don't doubt elements of this story, but it's not entirely correct. State Farm is a huge corporation. There are a lot of employees. Some in a position of power take action and make decisions that are outside their authority. No e-mail like the one described by in the Fox story was ever sent to agents in Texas. Period. Didn't happen. This is not a company wide program. I'm not even sure if it was authorized, but it definitely was not going on here.

It is a terrible move by Bloomington people, and the agents should have to answer for it. The customer base should good and well let the agents know what they think of this rubbish.scd88 said:
Texas agents had no idea what was happening. Not sure that makes it any better but they found out the same way everyone else did.
Edit to add: But all agents will have to answer for this. That's a terrible move for the Bloomington people to put the agents in.

So dumb. Never make your VP of Public Affairs your CDO - the roles can often have very divergent interests. So foolish.

The agents are already in Bloomington's ear and think more like you and me than the dip****s who made this decision to participate in wokeness. All I'm saying is the agents did nothing to bring this on - they were in the dark. Trust me, the people in Bloomington are insulated from their customers....but not so much their agency force.

The good news is I now have at least 3 StateFarm employees who will keep me updated if anything changes. And I know others have their own sources within @StateFarm. They are being closely watched.

The company I work for just sent a mass email with 11 bullet points on getting approval for company charitable donations and sponsorships with bullet 11 saying no company funded donations or sponsorships that benefit a political party or social or missionary organization are allowed.
Under No Circumstances is in bold.

Isn't that nearly all of them?
True. I talked to my agent yesterday and that was news to him. And not good news.scd88 said:
