I believe some of the Uke's earlier unmanned boats failed because Starlink is geo-fenced.

Setting up an ad-hoc network of long range wireless repeaters isn't technically challenging or even very expensive. But the logistics to do so quickly would likely require cobbling together various brands of equipment and integrating all that together under battlefield conditions could be difficult. And reliability would likely suffer.

I agree, but I also don't understand how a thinking sentient adult can do lot's of things I see on the nightly news/news feed. And some (like Griner) probably have little understanding of politics/risk and need the money.

They've thrown 40K prisoners as conscripts at the war, and lost more than we did in WW1, or Korea, and Vietnam combined already. I can see them pressing foreign nationals into 'service' at some point. Again, it would be great to see this de-escalate rather than the other.

Ukraine and Russia have hugely unhealthy/unsustainable birth rates/demographics (former around half sustain levels). Neither country is long for this earth.

I noticed in the T72 video, only 2 crewmen exited the tank, and one was the driver. Makes me think there were only 2 men crewing the tank. No TC, just gunner and driver.

That looks like Su-25s making ground attack runs with rockets.

They always pop flares when they break away after launching their rockets/missiles.

Ukraine claims to have killed some thing like 1500 or more Russian troops in one day last week. This may have been the battle they were talking about.

Given all the attention get balloons these days over North America, I am surprised that Ukraine has not found a way to weaponize steerable balloons with kamikazi drones against fixed targets using satellite links and GPS. Seems like it costs way more to take them down than they actually cost especially if lots of decoys emplyed.
