Russians we have to stick together! Whole convoy destroyed.

See :13 mark in what appears to be cookoff of Grad Rocket going through the whole column unless this is some kind of daisy chained mine? Anybody else have a thought.

European gas prices had soared above 340 euros ($332.6) per megawatt hour in late August, but this week dipped below $100 for the first time since Russia cut supplies. Before the war, the price had been as low as 30 euros.

Over 60 huge ships filled with natural gas are waiting off the coast of NW Europe to unload.
That's good, but let's see when it's 30 degrees in Berlin and not 60.

I was there a few days ago, they are not running the AC much either.

Surprised it's not higher. Almost 200,000 civilians were killed in Iraq
The number you state is not but that's a debate for a different thread.

and the above is why some Muslim Russians opened fire last week and killed around 20 of their fellow soldiers

just like how the Jews were beaten mercilessly in the Czarist Imperial Army in the early 1900s, the Muslims now take the place as whipping boys from drunken idiots in the modern Russian Army.

Max pressure through the winter will cause them to collapse in different sectors of the front.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog will present to US officials evidence that Iranian drones are being used in Russia's invasion of Ukraine during a meeting tomorrow.

In the past few weeks, advanced Iranian drones have been witnessed in action against civilians in Ukraine, the president's office says.

Through visual analysis, security officials have determined that fragments of drones are identical to those developed in Iran.

Herzog will present photos of the evidence to US officials during his two-day visit to Washington.
The photos show the Iranian Shahed-136 drone model being launched during a drill in Iran in December 2021. Other images show that the same aircraft have fallen in Ukraine.

Photo evidence shows that the drones in Ukraine have many of the same features including their structure, dimensions and numbering.

Iran also presented drones at an exhibition in 2014 that have the same engines as aircraft shot down in Ukraine, the president's office said.

"Once again Iran proves it cannot be trusted and that in every region where there is killing, suffering and hate Iran is there," Herzog says in a statement. "Iranian weapons play a central role in global destabilization, and the international community must learn its lesson, now and in the future," he adds.

Everything I can find says the HAWK missiles from Spain are MIM-23B which are not capable of missile intercept. Perhaps the US will provide the MIM-23J/K which is fused to defend SRBMs.

Well if they want spiritual warfare, they should repent, leave Ukraine get on their knees and fervently pray for the Ukes.

He doesn't care. He sold out his people to be Putin's lapdog. He's wholly self serving and an utter joke. His commitment to his faith is as flimsy as his commitment to his people. Lots of Chechens would love to see his head in a basket.

This is a dangerous game for Russia to play. Their critical economic infrastructure is just a vulnerable.

"Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure have been so methodical and destructive that...officials say they are being directed by electricity specialists who know exactly which targets will inflict maximum pain on Ukraine's grid."
To be honest, I'm shocked they waited until month #8. Militarily speaking, taking out Ukraine's electrical grid should've been a month #1 objective.

Offensively taking out Russia's power grid outside of maybe Rostov and Belgorod isn't feasible and even Rostov is a big stretch as if the Uke's had weapons capable of that they'd have hit the Kerch bridge with them several more times. Additionally offensive actions, even retaliatory in nature, would have consequences in European capitals that the Ukes want to avoid.

They thought they were going to be occupying Ukraine and might have need of it. Their decision to go scorched earth in certain regions now shows you just how much they have revised their objectives, and given the pervasive state of delusion among their leadership, it tells you that their realistic prospects are even worse than this would indicate.

It seems like Ukrainians hit several facilities in Russia earlier, but not using missiles and arty. Several weapons and manufacturing facilities had large but mysterious fires. No one in Europe squawked. I would not be surprised to see that kind of sabotage resume, this time hitting Russian power facilities. And it is colder in Moscow than Kyiv.

I know that international law disagrees or is kinda grey on it but electrical grids are a legitimate target. I know that wont be a popular opinion but...

You don't destroy what you intend to own. This is Russia very belatedly accepting reality.

Someone should point out to him that they have already destroyed many many cities and still getting pushed out.
So is that guy going to pick up a gun and join the fight to clear out the Ukrainian army 'block by block'? If it was that simple, what have the Russians been waiting for all these months? The sales pitch seems to be to avoid civilian casualties but the truth seems to be more that their military sucks.

Do you think I'm saying they are not legitimate targets? If so, you need to read that again because you are wrong. But, if you are invading a country under the pretext that this is actually what the local population wants, or which you intend to occupy to your benefit, you don't destroy the infrastructure necessary to run the country. Even Hitler didn't destroy French infrastructure (as a first resort; he intended to burn Paris on the way out, but was thwarted). Of course, if Ukraine's electric infrastructure is fair game, so is Russia's.

True. And at this point, Russia has exhausted all military options to win the war. Russia's only hope now is to sufficiently cripple Ukraine enough to have a credible seat at the negotiation table. Ultimately however, the war won't end until Ukraine puts Crimea at risk. My 2 centavos.
