Not real but probably not far from reality either. Imagine 5000 drones like those dropping from a B-2.

We will never know exactly how many Russians have died. Even after all of this is done. Because I am 100% positive Russia doesn't even know and I am thinking that they honestly don't want to know. They are throwing away their people at every turn. They still won't admit the MOSKVA sinking and casualties resulting from that.

I've seen several videos from Russians complaining that they don't get any benefits (not even the sack of potatoes) for MIAs. Combine that with Ukrainian media showing boxcars full of Russian corpses that Russia refuses to take back and I'd say it's highly likely that Russia, as per their usual MO, is trying to avoid officially recognizing as many KIAs as possible.

If they refuse to acknowledge any of these things officially then in 50 years they can pretend it all never happened this way and tell the Russian citizenry that it's evil Russophobic western propaganda.

At work we occasionally send people to Dover Airforce Base's medical examiner's facilities. One of the guys who went before Covid was telling me about their last trip this afternoon and he was nearly moved to tears three years later discussing the dignity with which they treat the remains of our soldiers.

It's humbling to realize Dover has the capacity to perform over 25 simultaneous autopsies at a time.

Then there are the Russians who pile their dead up like cords of wood.

Edit: Removed because I couldn't get the Twitter content filter to pop up on the tweet and there was copious profanity.

The gist is that gay rape is an institutionalized element of the Russian military that they openly admit to and are proud of in a weird way. They feel like it's completely different from consensual man on man relations because it's against one's will and therefore ok and not actually gay.

This is why you see stories of Ukrainian civilian males being raped in occupied areas. The Twitter post was of conversations from Russians online justifying it as acceptable and not the same as "western degeneracy". It's pretty messed up.

Isn't Ukraine cataloging and posting pictures / details online of those they can identify? Russia blocks / filters the interweb, but that info will get to the Russians somehow. It won't be 100% but it should eventually give Russians a sense of the true number.
