Despite everything, regardless of the agony of the dictator's regime, we will withstand and win. Glory to Ukraine🇺🇦!
If this remains a conventional military confrontation, every indicator is that Russia will lose the war. It may take a good part of next year, it may take 100K+ more casualties, but w/o a drastic change in the conventional balance of power, they're done.#UkraineRussianWar

The extent to which the German government has been compromised by Moscow continues to be a major point of concern. Compartmentalizing Germany from major aspects of traditional NATO cooperation may be called for if this gets worse. https://t.co/AfF1ZQuiEi

Let's say Russia tries to attack Ukraine from Belarus again. This would mean Russia is escalating through another country.
What is to stop Polan, Lithuania, and Latvia from hitting Belarus? It wouldn't be any different from what Russia is doing.
It turned out the video PMC Wagner uploaded as 'proof' for their capture of Bakhmut was a video from a girl on TikTok. They worsened the quality intendedly.

On October 1, Germany made a similar pledge about IRIS-Ts. It appears as if no delivery has been made.
Germany reiterated the pledge today, what I am referring to in this tweet is a new statement not a repetition of the October 1 onehttps://t.co/iN8wBN4gJi pic.twitter.com/ohPfRGdRi3
A Russian cyber attack has hit the websites of multiple U.S. airports, including La Guardia, ATL, ORD, LAX and Des Moines. The attack is not affecting airport/airline/security operations, only airport websites. ATL says it just brought its website back up.

The calculus here is that those in positions of power, other than Putin & the ultranationalists, will not allow Russia as they know it (& benefit from it) to be crippled or destroyed before moving against Putin et al & seeking a return to normalcy.

Why isn't the Wagner group a designated foreign terrorist organization? I know designating Russia has baggage but Wagner could easily be added and dealt with like Al Queda.
Actually, I think that's a very good idea and don't understand why it isn't being considered.
Now on to thread topics.
Does anyone here believe last nights missiles will alter Uke's military tactics or motives?

Russian officials continue to state publicly that they are still pursuing regime change and other maximalist objectives. Worth keeping in mind when people tell Kyiv they need to look for a negotiated settlement. Russian officials aren't signaling they're looking for a compromise. https://t.co/WA3G0KVXWA

There's a difference between winter supplies to stay warm on the way to grocery store, and winter supplies to be camping in the elements for weeks on end. They're already being asked to bring their own medical supplies and sleeping bags, it's not out of the realm of believability that they don't have proper cold weather gear for troops.PA24 said:
I think Russia has adequate supplies for winter fighting, my goodness, they live in that crappy environment. I also think Russia has plenty of bullets land guns left in their arsenal.
I hate the Russians and would gladly kill them if they attacked Texas but I am not going to be fooled in thinking they are even closed to being beat back in Ukraine.
