Though they have Confirmed he was indeed at the Frontlines near the City of Izyum on the same day of the Attack, to try and Reorganize Russian Military Offensives in the East of Ukraine, but that he safely returned to Russia the same day.

Gerasimov did indeed visit the frontlines. “Ukrainian officials learned of the visit, the Ukrainian official said, but not in time to catch Gen. Gerasimov. When Ukrainian forces launched an attack…he had already departed” https://t.co/nSVfPnM6oi

Another horrible story from the #Kyiv region.#russians killed a woman. Then they tied her live child to her corpse... and put a bomb between them.

When rescue workers tried to save the child, the mine detonated.

Not that it really matters, as Russia is the aggressor and Ukraine is fighting a defensive war. I'm not sure that employing mercenaries is good or bad in itself.
Russian air defense units are targeting unknown targets (possible UAVs?) above #Belgorod:

Russian TV debating how long take a Russian nuke to strike London. Answer? About the same time it would take a UK Trident 2 D5 to strike Moscow. So, Russia, unless you are planning to commit nuclear suicide stop over Ukraine stop your nuke rattling. ALSO, our nukes work.

Translated excerpts:
Vladimir Zelensky can bring peace to the country if he forces the "neo-Nazi battalions" to stop resistance, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"Now Zelensky can also bring peace if he stops giving criminal orders to his neo-Nazi battalions, forces them to release all civilians and stop resistance," Lavrov said in an interview with the Italian television company Mediaset.
[end translation]
He goes on to say that everything is Zelensky's fault for not complying fully with Minsk agreement, while neglecting to mention that Russia failed to live up to their end. Same old story. Different rules for Russia.

How did Russia violate the agreement first? I am unfamiliar with it.
That is interesting. In the Soviet days, when somebody was going to disappear in a change of leadership, they usually went away for a bit to "recover from (insert malady here)" while the people taking over consolidated their power and control over the various organs of the party and military. Once they had firm control, then it was announced the the previous leader "lost a valiant struggle with (insert malady here)" or died peacefully in their sleep from a (9mm) brain hemorrhage or heart attack.BattleGrackle said:

Russia isn't a direct party to the agreement. That's the kicker. Their proxies in Donbas (who are mixed with Russian contractors and Russian regulars) are. After Minsk 1, the proxies kept pushing and gained more territory. Then came Minsk 2. As always, Russia is trying to have their cake and eat it too while publicly holding Ukraine to a different standard than they abide by.
