We've seen Ukraine's stout defense but we still haven't seen them seriously go on the offensive. This may change with some of the weapon systems and training we're hearing about. ... M777A2, HIMARS, M1097, etc. It would be interesting to know what missile systems are being provided for the HIMARS ... some systems have medium to long range capability (100-300 mile range) that could wreak havoc in the rear attacking airfields, ports, depots, and bridges.

Though we cant know for sure this occurred as he/she said, this type of Operation is typical had been conducted for as long as there has been wars and I am confident there has been several of these. This was my world for a couple of years, but its easier done with women, and there has been several extremely courageous females successful at ops like these, rarely getting the recognition deserved. Drones and sigint taking over but I think there will always be a place for humint.

For a combat vet of Iraq/Afghanistan to say this highlights the difference between what we've gotten used to and the realities of conventional warfare between peer/near peer militaries.
