I don't think that's true. I really do mean it's going to be a logistical nightmare and problematic - unless some of these are crewed by "mercenaries" .These are 4 new weapon systems, and that's just artillery.Waffledynamics said:I'm 100% okay with that. Yup, and Russians use 152mm, though some of their systems are available in 155mm as well.MouthBQ98 said:

I haven't seen much video of either side using a ton of mortars. Probably not a priority for the Ukes to secure them at this time.Waffledynamics said:And where would that be? There's something pretty fishy about that video.RebelE Infantry said:

Moldova is feeling acutely threatened and pro-Russian forces inside Moldova, such as Igor Dodon, could complicate matters further
Russia's MoD claims only 1 person died on board the sunk Moskva cruiser, with 27 "missing" (is there another word for missing in the sea??) and 396 "evacuated to Sevastopol".
— Christo Grozev (@christogrozev) April 22, 2022
So they're saying essentially 28 killed and 396 saved. Highly improbable given the damage.
The British Army operates around 270 Challenger 2 MBTs with another 120+ in Storage, the Main Battle Tanks the Polish currently operate are German Leopard 2s, Polish PT-91 Twardys, and Soviet T-72s; but soon will operate a number of American M1A2 Abrams and British Challenger 2s. pic.twitter.com/VgmHSazA63

Germany doing similar. Sending armor to Slovenia to backfill it sending T-84s to Ukraine.Rossticus said:The British Army operates around 270 Challenger 2 MBTs with another 120+ in Storage, the Main Battle Tanks the Polish currently operate are German Leopard 2s, Polish PT-91 Twardys, and Soviet T-72s; but soon will operate a number of American M1A2 Abrams and British Challenger 2s. pic.twitter.com/VgmHSazA63

Saw some speculation somewhere that quite a few of the tanks Russia is sending in have been using a 2 man crew, with the commander also serving as the gunner due to personnel shortages caused by soldiers refusing to fight. Also saw stories that there were amphibious forces refusing to participate when Russia want to attack Odessa. Make me wonder if this ship was running with a skeleton crew, and if it had anything to do with the failure to intercept the missiles.ABATTBQ11 said:
Ship also had a normal crew of 510. They're about 90 short.

Know this is the Ukraine thread, but it absolutely always baffled me that the Royal Army has about 400 tanks.Rossticus said:The British Army operates around 270 Challenger 2 MBTs with another 120+ in Storage, the Main Battle Tanks the Polish currently operate are German Leopard 2s, Polish PT-91 Twardys, and Soviet T-72s; but soon will operate a number of American M1A2 Abrams and British Challenger 2s. pic.twitter.com/VgmHSazA63

Perfect opportunity for NATO to send the Ukes their old Russian armor and upgrade to better stuff. That way the Russians can get blown to smitherenes by their own weapons. I'll be astonished if we're delivering M777s because, for us, those are first line artillery in active duty units, not tubes sitting in reserve stocks. Still betting on it being the plentiful M198.Rossticus said:This is probably some of the most Modern and Effective Systems the Ukrainian Military has gotten from NATO so far allowing for Extremely Accurate and a High Tech Rounds to be provided, it will also make Ukraine the Country with the 2nd Largest Number of M777 Systems in the World. pic.twitter.com/H8BDmvYfO3
