German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announces that Germany will create a €2B military aid package with one billion of that being a direct cash payment to Ukraine for it to purchase weapons itself. If this goes through, it’ll be a big step up by Germanyhttps://t.co/VFRaKGKyLc

Appears to be a Tu-160 and four MiG-31's
I didn't see a Tu-22.
Also I wonder if that's old. No reason for that bomber to refuel low like that. Looks like an air show flyover
This certainly puts ship in range of entire UKR coast for anti-ship missile, but also conflicts with all the other reports or it drifted over 250KM but I don't believe that either.Rossticus said:***BREAKING***

It's flying behind a tanker (not sure I can make out the hose or if I'm imagining it). No reason a strategic bomber would need to refuel at all to strike Ukraine from Russia. And it's definitely not a bombing run. Nothing tactical at all about that slow ass formation. I'm betting that's an air show or other kind of flyover
Tu-160 recorded during a low level simulated aerial refuel with 4 MIG-31 escorts over Vyazma, Russia earlier today.

This site is reporting turkey rescued 50 and another 14 by russian ships on other site. IMO 64 survivors out of 485 for a ship that went down or capsized that fast in the dark at 1AM is certainly plausible. If it didn't go down until the next day a capsizing could certainly allow it to float for that time.
I don't think 2M seas for a ship that big is any issue but certainly a man overboard in the dark after a massive explosion, might come to know Jesus even if previously aetheist.
Definitely. I meant more underway and this would certainly explain the tow if indeed that did happen.ABATTBQ11 said:JFABNRGR said:https://www.trtworld.com/turkey/turkish-ship-rescues-over-50-russian-sailors-from-naval-cruiser-moskva-56382aggiehawg said:Nice thought but depends on whether the below deck bulkheads were in the closed position. Might be an issue if she's taking on water and listing. Could easily capsize with wind and wave action combined with an altered center of gravity.
Russia calls the attack on Moskva missile cruiser with the following death of the most of its crew „an illicit“ form of war. Well, we know what Russia sees as a licit form of war: rape, looting, torture, mass executions of civilians. That it the opposite of what Ukraine does.
