Nice thought but depends on whether the below deck bulkheads were in the closed position. It didn't sink immediately, took some time from all accounts I have seen.

This site is reporting turkey rescued 50 and another 14 by russian ships on other site. IMO 64 survivors out of 485 for a ship that went down or capsized that fast in the dark at 1AM is certainly plausible. If it didn't go down until the next day a capsizing could certainly allow it to float for that time.

I don't think 2M seas for a ship that big is any issue but certainly a man overboard in the dark after a massive explosion, might come to know Jesus even if previously aetheist.

I didn't see a Tu-22.

Also I wonder if that's old. No reason for that bomber to refuel low like that. Looks like an air show flyover

Yeah. It's a nice vid but I don't think it has squat to do with what it's purportedly associated with. Formation is sus for a bombing run.

Edit: Here's the reported location so, yeah, I completely agree. Doesn't fit.

It's flying behind a tanker (not sure I can make out the hose or if I'm imagining it). No reason a strategic bomber would need to refuel at all to strike Ukraine from Russia. And it's definitely not a bombing run. Nothing tactical at all about that slow ass formation. I'm betting that's an air show or other kind of flyover

Might be an issue if she's taking on water and listing. Could easily capsize with wind and wave action combined with an altered center of gravity.

Definitely. I meant more underway and this would certainly explain the tow if indeed that did happen.

I think it's a safe bet she was taking on water. Whether she was hit by ASM's or had munitions cook off, kind of hard to believe her hull wasn't compromised.
