Not surprising, they are at war and will spin to make anything look like it's not their fault. Conversely, Ukraine and the west definitely have done the same.
If Ukrainian troops are surrendering in Donbas, which certainly could be true, you think Ukraine is going to corroborate that?

It is amazing that people who lived under the Soviet Union and should know full well the bias and unreliability of state news continue to look to state news for information. They were told for years all of these lies about the West and the glory of Soviet Russia, only for them to come undone with the fall of the Soviet Union, and yet they still go back to the liars as if something has changed and they're now completely honest.
