Should be a lesson for all on media manipulation and that it can happen anywhere...and does.
It's a testament to the ignorance, complacency, and general lack of critical thinking of the masses. You'd think that the bulk of people would catch a clue when most media outlets outside of a select few are shut down, your ISP is not able to reach giant international social media platforms, etc... but they just...don't.
Typical selection bias.

You have been taught all your life that Russia is good. Russia the country and Russia IS good. It's this invasion that is bad.

It's hard to assimilate new information that challenges your deepest beliefs. Much easier to just assume it is misinformation.

If anonymous was worth their salt they'd take over some state channels and broadcast some uprising / truth messaging.

It's not like that.

My understanding is that it's configured for the theater. It's the difference between buying a WiFi router on Amazon and getting access to a WiFi router running on your adversary's network.

Thanks y'all. Last question, is the Javelin really a 280/300 kind of weapon? If it's smaller than the TOW is it more anti-BMP and less anti-tank?

It really is that good. The advanced tracking system on it was absolute cutting edge when it was introduced and still top notch today. There are a few things that can interfere with it but if the gunner has a solid lock and touches it off, it is almost guaranteed. I gotta say, I am surprised there were 20 misses. I'm guessing it was more physical factors than anything directly related to the missile tracking itself.

Source: was a Javelin gunner
So , say a tank hiding under a bridge?

In the UN security council meeting the Uke ambassador intimated rather strongly that the Russia ambassador could no longer communicate with his capital (to which the ambassador of Russia gave a nervous laugh and a shake of the head). What are the implications of that?

I guess I didn't realize the S&P500 contained Russian companies.

Do you have a link? Be easier to parse the exact words and body language.

Not sure how to do a time stamp. and it is a live stream. Need to back it up until the Uke ambassador is talking and you starts talking about foreign students. Right now is about at -26.27. Since it is live that will change.

sounds like propaganda in that they are trying to just troll the Russians-

of course the New York delegation for Russia can communicate with Moscow

the Ukes are probably trying to imply that Putin doesn't listen to the advice of the US delegation

Ukraine has immediate knowledge of Russian capabilities and methods in the cyber realm. That's valuable to NATO.

Reading here about some of the supply chain issues the Russian military is experiencing in regards to ammo, weapons and such.

Reminds me of the global supply chain issues everywhere.

Makes me think about our own military and replenishment of our own hardware, ammo, weapons.

But this all goes towards why maybe Russia sent in their "B" team. The cost and time of replacing old APCs and Tanks vs newer ones (that may have more advanced technology---we all know about the chip shortages causing delays in the Auto industry) could have factored in this...

Another reason the US and NATO may be standing down is to save our equipment for use in a potentially larger and bigger conflict (Think China/Taiwan) Maybe its not just that we can't fight two wars at the same time. Its we also can't resupply and replace at a quick enough pace.

NSIAP, but he talks about Russia putting out a statement to any incoming volunteers helping Ukraine not being treated as POWs, but rather as criminals. I'd assume they're not gonna bother shipping them back to Russia either.

Or maybe Russia's army just is the B team. Their best stuff is there, getting destroyed and captured

Very NSFW video of ambush on Russian "armor". Warning bodies and body pieces are visible.

Is this just throwing stuff on the wall time? You are seeing a war in real time, where Russia is unprepared. Please tell me an instance where human nature you throw in the "B" team.

As for DOD logistics, the Russian's couldn't hold our jock.

Russians have a lot of valuable military hardware...... but clearly lack the logistics capability to effectively support and sustain it.

Ukrainians are doing a good job of taking advantage of that weakness.

Sun-Tzu would be proud of the job they have done so far.

Proving that information is the most powerful weapon in any war..........

......... and why those in power like to squash it being shared.

I don't necessarily doubt they've killed 7,000 Russians but I definitely doubt they took real pictures of 7,000 dead Russian soldiers

Means they captured a whole helluva lot of operational equipment, some with Ruskie network defense data, and the boys down in NATO IT dept want to 'play doctor.'

This has happened throughout history in waging war. You throw the conscripted fodder in the front lines to soften up the enemy and not expend your best resources if you don't have to. Especially if you think you are going to roll anyway. It's a numbers game.

We have intelligence officials in the west who have said this is happening here albeit not 100% confirmed, yet. But there is an enormous amount of 'evidence' that this has probably happened to some degree here.

7000 pictures of dead Russian soldiers <> pictures of 7000 dead Russian soldiers

Could be many pictures of the sane scene from different angles.
