I can't believe they've made it what, 18 months without losing them (or at least keeping it under wraps).fullback44 said:Yeah it looks like they hit them with a few heavy rocks or something …. Those two bad boys will be back in action in a few weeks… but Ukraine needs to keep hiding them well74OA said:
Russia finally really did hit HIMARS, a grand total of two to be exact.
Today's SITREP.

SUNK
GUR showed a video of the destruction of the "Cesar Kunikov" VDK.

At the end, you can see how the ship tilted, going under water.

Wonder if those HIMARS were actually still usable but needed repair, and once they had GLSDB in theater ready to go, they could afford to pull them back for repair?74OA said:
GLSDB makes its combat debut in Ukraine. Nice bump in range.

How many of these large landing ships have they lost now? I've honestly lost track...
I was just remarking that it was an interesting coincidence that the GLSDB showed up in use about the same time the news came out showing two relatively lightly damaged HIMARS being pulled back for repair. You are probably right that they were not related, but given the remarks from others who would know that the HIMARS did not seem to be that badly damaged, it was an interesting coincidence.74OA said:
I may be missing your point, but I don't think one had anything to do with the other.
Can also be launched from the M270 MLRS, which the Ukrainians also have.docb said:

⚔️ Триває оборона Авдіївки

💬Ворог знову просунувся на півночі та півдні міста. На півдні їх основна задача оточити Зеніт,а на півночі максимально продавити Сили Оборони. Ситуація продовжує погіршуватись через безупинний обстріл КАБами та ракетами. Кацапи хочуть максимально… pic.twitter.com/F8AI7SVmVc

The defense of Avdiivka continues.
The enemy advanced again in the north and south of the city. In the south, their main task is to surround Zenit, and in the north to push the Defense Forces as far as possible. The situation continues to deteriorate due to the incessant shelling of anti-aircraft guns and rockets. The Katsaps want to cut off AKHZ as much as possible and get to the 9th quarter. The enemy's assault groups concentrate on those areas where they are successful. At the same time, the accumulation of manpower in occupied houses in the city continues.

🐷Кацапи готувалися перекинути техніку в Авдіївку, але між Верхньоторецьким та Кам'янкою були знищені. Велика спільна робота всіх "авдіївських" бригад та батальйонів

Katsapas were preparing to transfer equipment to Avdiyivka, but were destroyed between Verkhnotoretsky and Kamianka. Great joint work of all "Avdiiv" brigades and battalions

Russian soldiers film the battlefield just east of Krasnohorivka, to the northeast of Avdiivka.

I dunno. This is a warzone, and that's very obviously a Russian warship. I think any E3 would probably be commended for taking the initiative. I would imagine these are one way trips since it's 250+ miles from Ukrainian controlled coast to where a lot of these attacks take place, and once they find a target of opportunity they'd probably want to hit it as soon as possible. Probably don't want to waste fuel or risk losing the opportunity if you don't intend to bring it back if you're not successful. Once they find a target, they probably get all of their boats together for an attack and swarm them.

20 @NATO allies have also agreed to form a de-mining coalition. All of this will help to save #Ukrainian lives.
