GLSDBs finally getting shipped? See interesting article below. Along with a single new HIMARS speculated to have mods to launch the GLSDBs but that doesn't make logical sense to me. If the launchers needed mods why wouldn't they send in a tech team or ship them to poland and mod there. A single munition type only capable with a single launch platform just doesn't make sense.

Maybe the new launcher does have some unique capabilities but I don't think its related to a munition stock.

Its also been my observation that were not seeing HIMARs used as much likely because Ukraine is low on stocks and russia has adapted much better to being vulnerable to the deep strikes.

Wonder what the true loss is on both sides in that area and what is going to happen over the winter.

No maps that I've seen show the city completely encircled, though it definitely has Russians on everywhere but it's Western side. I wonder if something got lost in translation and the actual intended meaning was that Russia is trying to storm it from all directions that they have.

Avdiivka certainly seems to be in dire straits. I'm sure the weather is not helping either side.

They've enveloped it on both sides but haven't encircled it yet. Ukraine sees to be using the battle to bleed and occupy Russian forces before withdrawing. The city is of course all but destroyed by artillery by now.
