Not saying it isn't, but i expect more corroborating evidence given their size and scope around the world. Prigozhin has been insubordinate and threatening the Russian high command for months. they put out a video last week of some Russian Colonel that Wagner captured who "admitted" he fired on Wagner.

Kind of depends. That's a lot of guys and equipment to just move. I doubt Wagner has that kind of logistical capability, and if they did, where exactly are they going to rally? Anywhere they can just show up to is going to be under regular Russian control. Makes a little more sense to just drive to Moscow or start a coup with the forces in Ukraine that are probably pissed about being there. "Let's go home and kill the traitor Shoigu," probably sounds a lot better than, "Go attack the Ukrainians, or we'll kill you," to the average Russian conscript.

Could also be a case of friendly fire nobody wants to admit to. Who really knows at this point though. What really matters is what happens next...

They are a mercenary group. What are the chances Nato just ponied up more money than the Russians and said "you work for us now"? History shows that's always been a risk with mercenaries.

Going to speculate a little further. Wagner has better information on the morale of Russian troop and the strain that the offensive is putting them under. Possibly, that they are going to break at some point soon. The Wagner leader sees this as a golden opportunity to take this action and encourage mutiny among the Russian forces. He think gets them to fight on his side to change things in Russia to benefit the poor downtrodden troops in Ukraine.

Maybe this was the play, let them be demoralized and the enemy of my enemy is my friend so to speak. Make money from both sides, get the support of "NATO" and get a new way of life.

I don't think this is a psyop. Still not really sure what is going on, but you have to realize that although all of this stuff is leaked to the West because it is spread over telegram... It's really intended for a Russian audience. Also key to realize the MOD was trying to force Wagner into the Russian military recently, so it's not unreasonable to think we are at a breaking point.

You can believe it or not. But I've seen it posted from multiple sources in Russian claiming that's what he Igor Girkin said. And he said in a later post that Putin needs to intervene immediately. But from what I'm seeing online via pictures and various different sources - something is happening. I'm usually skeptical about these things, but I've never seen this many sources get fooled in this conflict. It's coming out very similarly to the raids into Russian territory a month ago or so.

Back to tactics, I hope the Ukes are planning to send some HIMARs to help Wagner break out of their current location.

In response to the Vindman post, I do think it's possible that he flipped enough Oligarchs and powerful military powers that his got more strength than "just Wagner". Definitely think it's possible he's gone crazy with a god complex too. It'll play out over the next few days and weeks.
