Great thread. Is this the beginning of WWIII? 18+ months later… no. No it was not.

It's also pretty awkward having said goodbye to Germany and the rest of the EU to have them still loitering about.

Things aren't going great. And you voted for Biden.

Think whatever you want, I don't vote for liberals so won't be voting for Trump or Biden and didn't do so in 2020 either.

Russia just opened large sections of its new highway that is part of a Eastern Europe to Western China trade network.

Iran just announced agreement to end tariff on rail transport through its country ultimately destined for Saudis.

Turkey is posturing to play a more active role with the Rooskies over control of the Black See.

Seems like everything is going great... as long as you don't live in Western Europe, the US or Ukraine.

I live in the US and things are going great.

Please elaborate on this "greatness " you are experiencing.

Outside of inflation, which is higher than it should be thanks to Trump and Biden's insane Covid policies and spending, would you even know about any of the other problems this board complains about if you didn't watch the news or read about them on twitter/texags? How much do they actually impact your life on a day to day basis?

It's not perfect but we live in the greatest country in the world. That also used to be a republican viewpoint until a con artist convinced a bunch of people America was broken and he was the only one who could fix it.

Why is this funny? Biden has shown quite clearly he disregards the lives of anyone not named Biden and is perfectly content in sending US soldiers to certain death (Afghanistan withdrawal).

Why would he hesitate to send soldiers to bleed for Z + 10% to the big guy? Its fairly naive to think he will NOT do so if benefits him as POTUS or financially.

Correct, it's your choice to get fired up about things that either don't impact you directly and/or that you can't change, especially if you choose to consume media that manufactures and profits on that outrage. If that's how you want to go through life more power to you. Seems miserable to me though.

I don't need the MSM to tell my my purchasing power, and retirement nest egg are a lot lower than 3-years ago. I can see it in the grocery store and any other online/brick store I visit.

I don't need the MSM to see that the government lied about, and is still lying about covid, J6, and you name it. They lie every day.

I don't need the MSM to see democrats are insane and don't understand "green" energy or economics in any way shape or form.

If I were retired with full disability - for having to wear a CPAP - living off Uncle Sam like you, and playing every day, I'd certainly agree with that.

Unlike you, my interest in politics and political change is to try and use my experience to better the lives of my kids and the less fortunate people in my life. Your posts and posting history just show that you don't have a purpose other than serving your own misguided beliefs. It seems the only purpose you have is to make life more difficult for the less fortunate as all you do is to weakly attempt to degrade the intentions of those on the right. Your existence is based on expressing your TDS in each pathetic post you make. Anger is all you have.

Not to mention Texas just beat Bama. I would have been willing to say goodbye to one of the less visited countries in the EU in exchange, and it happened sans the Faustian bargain.

Lol sure - and your entire noble existence here is spent defending a sore loser billionaire from the big meanies on the internet while constantly ignoring his obvious faults that will hand the democrats the election in '24, and make more likely all the things you're apparently so afraid of. It's more sad than anything to me, but ymmv.

I do get frustrated that supposedly educated people have been duped by such an obvious conman, but at the end of the day life is pretty good for all of us and I have plenty more important things to focus on in my life. Plus even if he wins the primary he'll lose in '24 and finally be gone from politics forever, so this is all temporary anyways.
