The last two updates I could find were from 2017 and 2018 during the Trump administration. Strangely enough there have been no updates since then.
So if anybody knows anybody that works over there, now might be a good time to wake 'em up. Don't startle 'em or anything like that. That's not what I'm saying. Just rattle something around and see if they move. Maybe look and see if their chest moving up and down.
Well well well. I guess they finally got around to updating the ol 'doomsday clock' and we got some good news.
After a flurry of activity in 2017, 2018 and 2020, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists took a look at the global situation in the last few years and made the tough decision that the clock remains unchanged for the second straight year.
Good work by all involved. Outstanding work.
