I've always been a crony capitalist lib, and didn't even vote Biden because of the credible assault allegations (and because I live in Texas and I could vote third party knowing it didn't matter). Can't stand the far left wing of the party fiscally.

Moreover Biden botched Afghanistan in a way I can't imagine Trump doing, and I thought foreign policy would be an improvement without the blowhard in charge.

This is especially true if groups of State governors start coordinating. Notice that even several blue states are signaling they will defy Biden's despotism.

Giving up on the media as any kind of profession of credit might be warranted, but not quite yet, the country, imo.

I keep hearing on FOX that the Dems will pay in 2022 with loss of the House and Senate. I don't believe it for a second. Democrats will not accept defeat in elections. There is no organization on the Right like there is on the Left. What are the organizing principles and who is the leader? In reality, it's Trump still. But he approaches this in shallow, ephemeral ways (eg "Did you see what Tucker said about me last night?" Instead of "Let's unite around these principles").

The news media on both the left and right and book writers like Woodward are doing a great job stirring the pot to keep their ratings up and to sell book copies, and the $$$ rolls in while politicians try to use it as well for their own self interests.

If anybody actually starts getting too freaked out getting inundated with the above, just tune all that crap out of your life for awhile. Focus on stuff like your own family and career and health etc. odds are you'll start to feel a lot better and be doing just fine.

Once I read it, I understood where all of this is leading. Loosing faith in the institutions we all used to hold in high regard is all part of the process.


On a side note, if you haven't started getting prepared for severe disruptions in your life that will hit in the very near future, you need to get on it. Start with getting right with God and building a network of like minded people. Beyond that acquire hard assets and learn how to protect you and your friends/family.
