There is no doubt that the military is rapidly losing any remaining trust of America's patriots . I can assure you that most in the military are now so clueless that they don't know … and that leadership absolutely doesn't care.

The US military has become no different than the NSA, FBI … and will likely be just as despised.

A remarkable, breathtaking fall in just 1 year … for which there may be no recovery.

Also I agreed with him. I would have gone with something like disingenuous rather than obtuse, unless you think the post I echoed was obtuse.
You truly are disingenuous. Expected though. And, your attitude is obtuse.

Stupid attitude.

I enjoyed Shawshank as much as the next guy, but the movie did us no favors on the obtuse front.

We have lost.

Blatant and open cheating in elections. Heck they even bragged about it in California.

Military leaders openly subverting the authortity of the COC

Feckless opposition leaders that are more interested in one liners on twitter than actually standing up for the people.

A SCOUS that is happy to just sit back and watch civil liberties be trampled.

People are comfortable to sit back and wait until it effects them.

We are a soft society. We are a decadent society. We are a depraved society. We are ancient Rome just before its fall.

There's still nothing to worry about. Watching the suffering that takes place in the wake of leftist policies makes me angry....but God & Good win in the end.

Each one of us has an expiration date, and all those people that laugh it up when evil captures our attention, and currently choose to foster blatant character flaws will one day watch their laughter turn to screams. Have pity on them, because they have no idea what they're doing.

OP,

It's been happening for awhile now. When you keep having the "conservative" party, the GOP, selecting more and more liberal candidates (41,Dole, W, McCain, Romney, Trump) you have to see that actual fiscal conservatism, the only thing that matters and will fix the economic issues caused by decades of idiocy in the form of liberalism, isn't what the GOP is pushing. When that's the case, the country's waning.

Tucker Carlson: Mark Milley committed treason, and others were implicated
Milley colluded with China, our chief military rival, to undercut the elected president of the United States

There's something about the term "deep state" that sounds paranoid, even nutty. As of just a few years ago, you mostly heard the phrase from relics on the far-left, the kind of people who lecture you about the United Fruit Company and the toppling of Mosaddegh. The term, then and now, suggests that our democracy is fake. Elections and domestic politics are a sideshow. No matter who you vote for, in the end, the same people still run everything. That's a pretty dark understanding of the American system. If you're a normal person who grew up here, it's the last thing you want to believe about your country. It seems crazy. And then you read stories like this one:

According to reporting this summer, in the days after last November's election, Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, held a meeting with senior military officials at the Pentagon. Milley wanted to inform them of what he described as a serious threat to national security a threat so grave it imperiled "the stability of the Republic." That threat, Milley said, was the sitting president of the United States. Donald Trump had dared to question the election results. For this, Milley explained, the United States military might be required to use physical force against the president. "We're the guys with guns," Milley said. He'd apparently been preparing for this moment. Milley had similar conversations with the director of the CIA, Gina Haspel, as well as with the head of the NSA, Paul Nakasone. He'd also spoken directly to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, Trump's chief political rivals. ...

My only surprise is how long it's taken for so many people to catch on to all this. I haven't gotten a chill from the national anthem or had any confidence in the military and FBI and CIA, etc. or felt like I had any emotional stake in this country since around 2008.

We're on a one way trip to a nightmare and the semi-miraculous Trump win has only made the powers that be want to double down to make up for lost time, to the point where they can practically be transparent and say "We don't care if you're aware or if you like it or not now because we're going to subvert this country right in your face!"

They have all the power now, I am just in disbelief when I hear or read people refer to the 2nd Amendment as if there is going to be any fighting. If it hasn't happened by now when would it ever happen? It's like some kind of Looney Tunes cartoon where our side keeps saying "You better not step over that line!. Ok, well you better not stop over that one. Ok well you REALLY better not step over that one!"

I mean, people have been arrested for going to church, we have open communists in Congress, our military leadership is conspiring with our greatest foreign enemy, the party in power funded the riots last year, they probably stole a presidential election, and on and on.

But watch out, because someday we're going to get mad.

What a joke.

Other than really outrageous things that make you boil, how many actions have applied tyranny directly to you enough to lash back out at?

You are mistaking the lack of a fight right now for the intention to lie down. But the real point is, as much as the things vex, the actual Lexington type lines have not yet been crossed. They are close -- Australia has --- and I do believe we would be in revolt in a few places if that was happening. The thing is it takes far more to trigger something like that here, because Americans have so many ways of silent nullification. Any Mayor or governor that really, really pushes things against the will of the majority --- will do so at real risk. Before you cite covid, understand we can't speak of a `majority there' --- as many believe the extremes as there are the more BigRobSa type completely blows it off.

But just this month, you are seeing what can stir if you DO have something a majority dislikes.

What you really need to be doing is identifying what do you want to stand for, and what are you content to adapt to and let go? Its more your kids and grandkid's choice --- so it has to be something they are wanting.

The news media on both the left and right and book writers like Woodward are doing a great job stirring the pot to keep their ratings up and to sell book copies, and the $$$ rolls in while politicians try to use it as well for their own self interests.

If anybody actually starts getting too freaked out getting inundated with the above, just tune all that crap out of your life for awhile. Focus on stuff like your own family and career and health etc. odds are you'll start to feel a lot better and be doing just fine.
THAT.

Any new right needs to understand think about these people (media figures) the way you would a drug pusher approaching your kid. They are utterly loathsome and self-serving as a collective -- the exceptions only prove the rule. This holds from the way they report `news' or omit details to how packaging can be skewed.(like the complaints about ads).

They are the commissars of the Left globalism, and utter propagandists. Not only does the message need to be tuned out, it needs to be actively opposed. A good example is stop caring about what a Leftist calls racist and focus on the fact they are the adversary of the American Ideal to start with.

Determine what you consider important and worth struggling/fighting for without reference to what see on `news' or learn in `school'.

By the way, the same advice goes to Liberals that are not Leftists --- determine where you will make a stand against the Coercive Socialists (currently the Democrat Party but the ideology is worldwide) rather than enabling them. It has nothing to do with whether you would vote for Trump, but what you would support. Or be willing to stop supporting.

Wonder if we will see some red lines here: https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3227472

Personally, I don't have a lot to lose since I don't have children. It's just my wife and I and, hell, I already left corporate America. That alone is a major step in and of itself.

The challenge is that my wife is still heavily in it, is somewhat high profile, and is our lifeline to consistent cash flow right now as mine is sporadic (hopefully that resolves itself here by November).

Feeling out the red line is a kind of a constant topic in our household these days.

(And I'm not talking about violent insurrection for any FBI reading this so leave me alone.)

No, his point is. The America of Reagan has been killed by the Democratic Party and the Mainstream Media and its educators in school. The future will almost certainly not be 50 but it doesn't mean everything is Planet of the Apes and completely devolved. There may be a Yugoslavia 90's interval (hopefully not) but what he means is, assumptions and national identities will change, and be the new way of life. Already more and more are thinking of Texas and Florida and California in their minds first in those states, and a DC that has destroyed a common heritage will just become utterly contemptible and not the least bit loyalty inspiring. The pattern of Late Rome is people ceased to believe in it and they adjusted way of life to new ways and adapted. They didn't just die or stop building (though all that again, slowed down and gets disrupted during moments of dire chaos for sure).

More plainly, just as the EU is going past-tense and the process has already begun, that is what lies ahead. It doesn't have to mean any more than that does --- some apocalyptic scenario. Present generations and their children (if having any) will have to decide kind of what they want if they don't want the world the DNC-Media wants to push them into.

General Milley's actions were an act of treason, there can be no debate about this fact. He needs to be court martialed. The DOJ needs to immediately begin an investigation. Congress needs to call him and his conspirators

When you are an ambitious individual who wants to retain his power and prestige under a new administration, there are many things you will do that you probably should not do to maintain your position. He answered to a new set of leaders and he engaged in treason.

I will not argue Trump's failure to hire people who put the country first above a desire to serve Team Jackass. Like you, he had a Pollyanna-like faith in the mechanisms of government and the bureaucrats behind it.

That faith proved his downfall.

What I am curious about are the other conversations this Biden Benedict had with his overseas Communist counterpart. What else did he talk about? What else did he share? Did he get his 10% like his future boss? Or was there a Swallwell-like honey trap involved?

Petraeus was railroaded for giving classified information to his girlfriend.

What price should a CJCS pay for giving up his ass to Xi Jinping?
