Tap the brakes a little bit and reflect on something. People are complaining about when this, when that, while failing to look at a more basic picture.
Other than really outrageous things that make you boil, how many actions have applied tyranny directly to you enough to lash back out at?
Mentioned earlier that only now, is large segments of Main Street getting mobilized in some cases across voting lines (Like look at the chants in NY )
This post by rgag on the two Americas thread covers a key thing:
https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3227437/replies/60174837You are mistaking the lack of a fight right now for the intention to lie down. But the real point is, as much as the things vex, the actual Lexington type lines have not yet been crossed. They are close -- Australia has --- and I do believe we would be in revolt in a few places if that was happening. The thing is it takes far more to trigger something like that here, because Americans have so many ways of silent nullification. Any Mayor or governor that really, really pushes things against the will of the majority --- will do so at real risk. Before you cite covid, understand we can't speak of a `majority there' --- as many believe the extremes as there are the more BigRobSa type completely blows it off.
But just this month, you are seeing what can stir if you DO have something a majority dislikes.
What you really need to be doing is identifying what do you want to stand for, and what are you content to adapt to and let go? Its more your kids and grandkid's choice --- so it has to be something they are wanting.
