Taliban videos have been available on liveleak for years. Shi$ i don't think even liveleak exists as a site anymore.BAP Enthusiast said:TommyBrady said:
They are executing people all over the country. Reality might be hard to deal with it but thats reality. They are already marrying off women and killing men. The Taliban is as hard line as ever they are just more savvy in front of cameras.
According to whom? The only info I have seen is from neocons with a well known history of lying, leftists with a well known history of lying, the media with a well known history of lying, and clearly old videos not from this situation. What evidence is there that these things are happening?

Jeebus!!
If they protest in Burkhas or hijabs like seems to be the case there, they just might, just might, win a few concessions or battles. If they outwardly conform, they will have some chance. Let's pray so.richardag said:They risk everything.TChaney said:

Power is nothing when you have self-serving cowards unwilling to sacrifice making the decisions. That put surviving politically above all other things.

The fact that we are getting significant numbers of people out is a win. Again, over the last day I've been very hopeful that Taliban statements would be honored for now, and so far they seem to have been. The problem with the Taliban as you have a bunch of unsophisticated goons running around who are not always going to follow directions.
Taliban leaders probably aren't going to be happy with people causing problems. Hurts their narrative.
They ARE the ****ing problem!! WTH is wrong with you??
Look, I've posted before that I've been awake for pretty much four days straight pacing around in circles and I've probably lost over 10 pounds. I can't put this down. I am absolutely devastated. I know what is happening to our Afghan allies. I'm going to take any good news I can right now. Don't really have much else of a choice. A lot of our people are getting out, at least in Kabul.
Very worried about the people outside of that area.
Something tells me the right in the USA does not have the will to endure suffering or inflict suffering like the taliban has.titan said:

Covering for the Taliban as an American should be embarrassing its clear to see who's actually been to Afghanistan and who hasn't.
The Taliban is going to be inclusive lol
Some money? They remember the pallets Iran got for essentially nothing. Slowing down and blocking the exodus of Americans by blockading entry points around the airport has to be worth more than what Iran got for a fake JPOA.kubiak03 said:
My guess is the state department is offering some money and the commitment to recognizing the taliban as the rightful rulers in the near future. In exchange for not causing problems/attacking during the evacuation.

Oh maybe not. Maybe it is not worth that. Franklin may be right about that.Proc92 said:Something tells me the right in the USA does not have the will to endure suffering or inflict suffering like the taliban has.titan said:
