Worries about mutation, the vaccine will probably accelerate that process. You know why the flu shot is usually "wrong". It's not, it blocks the strains they are designed to block and flu strain delta breaks through that protection and becomes the "flu" for that year.

You're an auto mechanic for the human body. There is no shame in that. It is definitely a critical skill set. Anyone with an above average IQ could be a doctor, lawyer, accountant, etc.

Outside of some special subsets, none of those occupations truly impress me other than the earning potential. And I'm a lawyer btw. The money is nice.

Vaccinated doesn't mean you can't get it, it's just means you're much less likely.

So if someone who had it had a 5% chance of giving it someone else before, they'd probably give it to 5 out of every 100 people they met. Those 5 would do the same. Now if those 100 people are vaccinated and the vaccine is 80% effective, they're likely to now only give it to 1 person. The growth rates of infections from a probability standpoint are much more manageable and infections peter out faster.

Now if only 50% of those 100 are vaccinated, then that person is likely passing it onto 3. Better than 5, but definitely not ideal.

You seem pretty good at math. So calculate the number of people Biden is giving Covid every year with his open border policy. Let's assume a mere 100,000 illegals enter into Texas every month. CDC assumes 7.2% of illegals infected with Covid.
