Yes this other FCPA crime you imagine might have occurred would be criminal. But Bobulinski neither made or documented any such claim.

The timing and weakness of the rollout alone is a tell that magaworld is getting played by Bannon and Giuliani, again.
Be honest here. If those emails were between China and one of Trump's children, would you still say no big deal?
Just a feeling, but I don't think he will bring himself to "honestly" respond to your query. He may be thinking about it...I hear fuses frying.
There is just such an enormous amount of evidence of a continuing pattern of conduct here, different deals, different countries but upshot is always the same. Hunter isn't qualified for jack s*** but is getting paid millions. No one can ever articulate a reason why other than his last name and influence peddling.

At the same time, Joe and Jill are living well above their means for decades. What is the alternative explanation for that? Joe was honest as all get out about "prostituting" himself since he first ran for office. That Kitty Kelley article and taped interview are proof of that. And he is also on record saying Senators aren't paid enough. Guy has always been greedy and not shy about admitting it.

So when his son has a long history of setting up these same types of deals over and over again, where's the plausible deniability? There isn't any. A jury looking at it all may not totally ready to go with beyond a reasonable doubt but in the absence of a defense with a plausible alternative explanation would they really have a choice?

Quote:

Any evidence any improper government policy accommodations were made pre-2017 that would have aided this venture?

That only comes much, much later because of the way the swamp works. For any politician who is not a member of the Democrat party the enthusiasm and unbridled initiative of the DoJ cannot be restrained. They falsify FISA affidavits to get warrants that allow them to set up process crimes in hope that they get real evidence later but even if they don't, the process **is** the punishment for Republicans and the occasional starry eyed libertarian. On the other hand, as in this case, if the criminal is a Democrat then it takes a literal order from the AG to get an investigation started and too often that doesn't happen without Dondald Trump inserting his Allen Edmonds up the ass of Bill Barr to get the process started.

Q: "Should we investigate this ****-show?"
A: "Not enough info. Could an investigation possibly harm the Democrat Party? If so the hell no. On the other hand, if the suspects are Repblicans then you shouldn't have waited to ask me. Get off your dead ass and fry them."

The deep state is a weapon that is in constant motion to harm conservatives. If it is not the thrust of a sharp blade, such as the frame-ups of Mike Flynn and George Papadopoulas, it's grinding abrasion of the IRS denying 501(c)(4) status to conservative organizations and auditing them vindictively or the DoJ Civil Rights Division's capricious favoritism in refusing the prosecute hate crimes committed caucasians or conservative Christians (See J. Christian Adams' books for specific examples).

America has its nose rubbed in the double standard of politically motivated injustice every day. November 4 will tell us whether the humiliation is enough to bring Americans to vote to affirm their choice in 2016 to end the tyranny of the deep state.

When the evidence is reavealed it will be because this guy examined the transactions in the hidden bank accounts that provides confirmation of what the emails reveal.

The money to Hunter is easily provable. There are SARs reports on that.

How the money was transferred to Joe Biden, or just expended on his behalf is the (currently) missing piece.

Were I a federal prosecutor, think I'd be able to fill that gap fairly quickly.

When the first NY Post story came out and everyone was rushing to point out that the emails were in 2017 after Biden had left office, I opined at that time that these types of JVs take a long time to negotiate and paper over. Considering this was with a foreign entity with foreign government ties, there are a lot of hoops to jump through before getting to the final stages and the funding actually flowing.

So the criminal enterprise here actually began in 2015, while Biden was VP. And these are obvert acts in furtherance of that conspiracy. It doesn't matter when the payoffs were actually paid vis-a-vis Biden is still in office or not.

Welll, <sigh> okay.

Once upon a time there was a celebrated, Heisman winning black football player for USC. He made movies and commercials and a lot of money. A lot.

But as he got older, his old football injuries caused his joints to freeze up on occasion. His knuckles would swell. His knees hurt. He had arthritis. So to keep the inflammation and pain down, he took daily pills; His knees and knuckles didn't swell.

During his trial for murdering his ex-wife and a waiter from a restaurant, the blood-soaked and now dried gloves were left on the witness stand during a recess. F. Lee Bailey walked up to the stand and measured his hand to the gloves. He knew OJ's were larger than his hands. So he goes to Cochran to tell him.

And then and there the plot was hatched. Oj was instructed to cease taking his arthritis medication. His hands and knees would swell.

Cochran previously had a type of mentor relationship with Chris Darden. Darden resented that, so Cochran baited him repeatedly to have OJ try on the gloves in front of the jury.

Darden takes the idea to Marcia Clark who told him, "No f***ing way. Don't do it!"

But during yet another recess, Cochran knows Darden is up next and needles him again. Anxious to prove Cochran wrong, Darden does order OJ to try on the gloves to the absolute horror of Marcia Clark. AND THE DEFENSE DID NOT OBJECT! That's the tipoff. They wanted Darden to do it.

The lack of medication made OJ's knuckles swell and the dried blood on the leather gloves combined to where they didn't fit easily.

The moral of the story is if the medication causes the gloves to not fit? Force the medication before one attempts a stupid court room trick.

Never ask a question to which you don't know the answer. Never ask a defendant to do anything.

Nope, just that they don't conclusively implicate Joe. At least for now.

Inconclusive. The timing of the story (to maximize damage to Biden's campaign before election), the people pushing it (i.e. Trump's allies), the media's refusal to cover it (even among conservative media), and my own internal biases suggest to me it's a political hit piece meant to rile up the base and sway undecideds, not legitimate proof of Joe's corruption.

Which admittedly is more than Biden's campaign has managed to spring on POTUS. It's a little disappointing that their best move was to let Trump continue to be Trump.

There's no chicanery involved in that at all. Interns could have made that move.

Have you considered that the FBI was investigating somebody other than Hunter? Say Giuliani or Steve Bannon. There's no reason for a money laundering related grand jury subpoena to acquire the laptop when according to this guy's story, he offered it up to the FBI voluntarily.

Within weeks of this subpoena, two of Rudy Giuliani's associates were arrested for illegal campaign finance activity and fraud in connection to their scammy company "Fraud Guarantee" which Giuliani was involved in and received $500,000 and was under investigation by the feds himself.

Quote:

Three US officials told Bloomberg that in addition to the violations, investigators are looking into whether Giuliani failed to register as a foreign agent.

Lev Parnas told Politico Giuliani was offered hacked Biden documents in early 2019 by Ukrainians around the time this purported laptop magically appeared.

I'll bet he turned over the laptop, the FBI found nothing illegal on it, and returned it. Then it got pinged by an ongoing investigation in to somebody else. There's no reason for the subpoena according to this blind computer repair guy's story.
