Sorry for the dumb question but just heard it is supposed to "land" in New Mexico? Details?

Is that a fake? Looks like stage lights have been setup behind it. Can anyone confirm its actually gone or is this the moon landing bs NASA pulled all over again?nortex97 said:

Are those leaks or thrusters?
Just confirmed that there will be no Boeing representatives at the post-landing Starliner news conference. (John Shannon and Mark Nappi were originally supposed to be here). Asked NASA why. Response: "You'll have to ask them." So what's up @BoeingSpace?

All the Boeing managers had to do was smile, thank their engineering teams for the thorough and rapid testing and successful return, and then say they have a fix in work for the thrusters (whether true or not) and that they look forward to launching their next flight soon.OnlyForNow said:

Is this, like Apollo 13, now considered a successful failure?

Since NASA might likely require another test flight, at Boeing's expense, that could well kill the Starliner program I don't think there's much success to high five about.
Boeing is going to have to solve these thruster issues ASAP.

They could fix the issue, but the way they handled it and launched after they knew their were issues removes any trust you could have in them. Will be tough or impossible to earn the trust back.

The AI narration voice ought to be a giveaway. And it's not even a good one.Fightin_Aggie said:
