Next they will complain they aren't using Russian rocket engines.
An array of diverse backers that include deep-tech venture capital funds and strategic brand partners have positioned Axiom Space as second to SpaceX for the most amount of money raised by a private space company in 2023 based on pitchbook data. https://t.co/jJtEuwmbtQ

Any news on why the scrub? They have the best track record so no jinx, so just curious on the reason.
F9/Crew-7: Still no word from NASA or SpaceX on what triggered the scrub or what might be required to correct whatever the issue might be; the forecast for a Saturday launch is 95% go

A bit later, but...the road is soft closed in Boca Chica ahead of potential 33-engine Static Fire testing of Booster 9. Everything is pointing to a static fire between 1230 and 1330 local.

STATIC FIRE! Booster 9 fires up 33 engines (pending confirmation). Potentially for the final time before launch day!

Didn't seem like 6 second full duration, but they called out full duration.
That was definitely 6 seconds.

Slow mo shot of Booster 9's static fire today. We've been working on getting shots like this remotely- today @SeanKD_Photos set up my camera and I operated it all the way from NY!

More views of B9's static fire here (but not this one bc i was too slow): https://t.co/X6RUzgWnnb pic.twitter.com/3aYfHIFhd1

Yes, after watching the NSF feed it did look like it was around 6 seconds.
On the SpaceX feed the ignition was before T minus 0 and cut off at around T plus 3. So that is what threw me off.
Super Heavy Booster 9 static fire successfully lit all 33 Raptor engines, with all but two running for the full duration. Congratulations to the SpaceX team on this exciting milestone! pic.twitter.com/1hzs768vHg

The pad survived 50% thrust static fires before the bidet was installed. Why is everyone suddenly worried about it during a 50% thrust static fire this time?Premium said:

They are going the land both Starship and Booster 9 in the ocean. Booster 9 will try to right itself as if it were actually landing on land. Starship will bellyflop into the ocean.hph6203 said:
