I have seen plenty of this myself and what's worse, far too much of it from people I know. Lost all respect for them when I did. Sure has helped identify people whose stupidity had been off the radar but the mask thing is a certifiable identifier.

Drove Austin to Dallas. Counted 18 people with their mask on, solo, driving on the interstate.

Miserable.

Saw a couple biking around the other day both wearing masks. I see people jogging with them and even driving around solo with them on. I automatically assume every single one of those people is BSC and completely unstable. Can't help it.

I witnessed what I believe is peak coronavirus stupidity a few weeks ago.

I had to get new trolling motor batteries for my boat so I'm at AutoZone and some dude comes in with a mask (this was before the recent requirements were in place). No big deal, if you feel better go for it and I won't judge. Until, this dude is parked right next to me on a motorcycle. He fires up and rolls out of the parking lot wearing his surgical mask and no helmet. It's not like he forgot to take it off either because we ended up heading the same path for about a mile and he kept the mask on.

I don't really care if you ride without a helmet or wear a mask but to be so ignorant of the actual risks to wear a mask, while riding your chopper in 90-degree heat in Houston but not a helmet when the risks are substantially higher of a wreck than getting the 'rona is weapons-grade stupid.

You should be mad at the Republican governor...why aren't you?

If people were truly scared of the virus, they wouldn't be out and about at all. They would have their groceries delivered. They would eliminate non-essentials. They wouldn't get close to another person's breath.

Same logic applies to any driver that exceeds the speed limit. Hell, any driver that exceeds 40 MPH.

I'd be more worried about the Kroger gas than COVID

From what I've observed, it doesn't look like the virus can infect you if you're smoking a cigarette so maybe next time he should try smoking.

These instances of people wearing masks when they are in zero danger have no wider implications about the effects of the MSMs 24/7 fear porn extravaganza where they try to convince you a cousin of the flu is actually airborne Ebola and we're all going to die unless Segregationist Joe is elected!

I agree it's a joke that the employee has to wear one but I see too many posts on here lambasting employees trying to enforce and/or abide by the rules they have no control over. Dude's probably just trying to not get fired...yah know, not become one of those dirty free loaders who has to take a handout. He'd be a hero per forum 16 if he said "phauck it, I ain't wearing a mask" and then a few weeks later when he gets fired he'd be a leech loser who has to rely on the government to eat.

Who gives a **** about the GB? I will wear them in the stores because we have to now but I put it on at the door and take it off at the door. I'm not gonna wear one in 98-100 degree weather. I wouldn't wear it if it's cold outside either there's no point in wearing one outside. You don't have to walk close to anybody.

There is a little country store very near my home though and I went in there the other day and they weren't wearing them so I didn't. I told the lady good for her. Her store her rules, screw Abbott.

Driving alone in a car with a mask on make me double take and WTF!
