It can't be considered a False Report because he "did not report a crime" but there was an investigation, evidence, fingerprints?

Both can be true. But I think this statement means he did not ever report any crime, so there can be no false report.

Police interviewed him after he posted the images on social media. He apparently never called the police. They reached out to him. At least that's what I'm gleaning from the report.

If Young doesn't come out by tomorrow and acknowledge the hoax, condemn it, and offer an apology to students both current and former then he needs walk into his office to write his resignation letter.

As the president of the university, he should be standing up for the character of Aggies and promoting our values, not tearing them down and making broad negative assumptions based on the venom of liars and hypocrites.
