We haven't even been testing the people that are already there. Unless they've traveled. If they'd had tests - fine, don't advertise. They could have used them on those that were sick to better understand the situation.tsuag10 said:

No schools have closed. I expect that to change and spring break to be a week longer or so similar to match what the Texas ISDs are doing because it's the trendy thing currently. They go on spring break later this month and first week of April. They'll do distant learning and already have plans in the works.
Other than that planning, the restaurants and other public spaces are normal. Actually, the bar was more crowded last night meeting friends for work. I attribute that to the new later sunset and more daytime.
Have a group going to big bear this weekend. It's been snowing this week and hope it's good. Hoping the hysteria makes the slopes not nearly as crowded.
Haven't been to store because like a normal person I did my biweekly shopping last weekend.
Gf went to the store for booze supplies earlier in the week and a couple dinner items...said it was normal.
Talked to a doctor at the gym and they do have a patient but he isn't worried in the long run. Expects things to be kinda crazy because of people, but expects it to be normal in about a month, well as normal as we can be with people still screaming the world is ending.
Oh yeah, went to the gym. Besides everyone wiping down everything thrice with Clorox wipes, it was normal for a Friday morning workout.
I don't understand the run on foods. We don't have a shortage and this isn't a natural disaster where supply chains have been decimated or power lost. Come early next week or even this weekend there will still be shipments. Are these people hording going to be buying daily? Doubtful. Well except the people dwelling in basements posting on here
Back to your regular programmed freak out. Just wanted to share a San Diego perspective.
