For a while China was reported test kit / lab confirmation only. The big spike one day on the charts was when they switched their official count to clinical diagnosis by CT scan or by the physician.
China also doesn't report deaths with comorbidities the same way we do so the mortality may be understated.
The US and most countries I think are only reporting lab confirmed tests.

I'd say the numbers being reported are certainly the less than actual. You can also estimate number of transmissions by genetic mutations and time per hop do that is being done as well.

They were on the conference rooms at each facility. I've got containers on ships from China to N. America. Hell, they literally just had an article about Wuhan opening back up.
Great. What about restaurants, cafes, stores, and schools? Unless people I know and trust are lying to me every school in Shanghai is still closed.

The 1968-69 flu sucked. It went thru central Texas like a whirlwind. I got it on a Sunday, missed a whole week of school with a terrible fever of alternating sweats and and chills. Went back to school (8th grade) the following Monday and 2/3rds of every class I was in was empty. Except it's not. So much of what Trump has said publicly has been directly contradicted by Fauci, other CDC officials, and the inarguable reality of the numbers. To name just a few examples...
Trump: the current number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. is "going very substantially down, not up."
- Not even remotely true.
Trump: the U.S. is "rapidly developing a vaccine" for COVID-19 and "will essentially have a flu shot for this in a fairly quick manner."

None of the above is "fake news." All of those contradictions - plus many more - are on video, directly disputed by the experts, with hard facts. Why should Trump not have to answer for these lies?
