if it's airborne and hangs around in the air so long, how does that jive with a familial close contact attack rate of 10%-15%

plus i trust the Singaporeans on their advice as to what is the significant transmission route. they have nothing to gain from being evasive here. they want to appear to be completely on top of this.

This is where that info graphic is useless.

How do you know the infected didn't have additional contact putting up luggage? Waiting to get on the bus? Did everyone use the same hand rails?

No one gets on a bus in orderly fashion, sits still and doesn't touch anything.

The transmission could have occurred from any number of unique interactions that have nothing to do with "personal space" and "air time".

This is poor science being exaggerated by the media.

The person wasn't sick when at CPAC, and neither Gaetz nor Collins are sick. So far no one from CPAC has become ill and we've already passed the average time that symptoms appear.

I know any kind of optimism isn't liked by some people on this thread, but in this case, there is at least a little to be optimistic about.

Navy has now suspended all graduation ceremony events. All graduated sailors will report to their schools or commands.

I maintain most airborne germs in air travel are passed thanks to the dip**** gate stalkers who camp out right in front of the entry even though they are ****ing Group 7. Having to navigate one's way through all of these inconsiderate plebes puts you at high risk for exposure. And chinese people are the worst. Maybe it wasn't wet markets or bioweapons but rather chinese people's inability to respect lines and order is the reason this started in China

Looks like it is all connected to students who were doing study abroad in Europe, especially Italy and Spain.

At least two are sick with it, one in Chicago and the other in New York. Neither had gone back to campus.

There is also one case in Nashville, but they're not sure how the woman got it. She isn't connected to the university.

I was hoping A&M would just cancel all of the Spring Break study abroad trips, but they haven't. There is at least one group in Paris right now.

Many people are used to employers looking negatively on employees for being sick. I've worked places where people are expected to be there even if they feel like they are dying. Fortunately, my current employer isn't that way, but you still have rogue employees not willing to use PTO when they get sick.

2M is the conservative estimate.

Currently 8% of their congress has the virus. If 8% of their population has it, the number is 6M.
