"Former" and "late" are not synonyms. They have completely different uses.

"Former President George W. Bush was in attendance at today's Dallas Stars game" isn't telling us anything about the subject's life condition.

Call it a difference in opinion, but I don't trust government any further than I can throw them... and I certainly don't operate on the thought that the government knows best as to what I need to know or not know when it comes to my daily life. I get the argument of panic, but its this non-transparency that I believe has led to a population of mindless drones feeding at the teet of the government for everything. Everyone lives in a perpetual state of being uninformed... so of course this type of **** will cause panic now because everyone has now been conditioned to react that way. So while I agree that people are going to panic, to me its simply validation its a byproduct of how our government has worked for decades.
