My guess is that you will be able to get insulin even during an outbreak in the US. But if you really want peace of mind getting more is reasonable.Rapier108 said:See what kind of discount you can find on GoodRX or SingleCare.BTHOthatguy said:
So I'm a type one diabetic. Thanks to changes in insurance I'm only allowed 30 days of insulin at a time.
Thoughts on paying out of pocket to stockpile?

Saudi Arabia is closing, but they're still going to let Goldberg take down The Fiend.
We're going to survive this.
Also, the trolling and general comedy. It would be better to keep it informational, imo.FincAg said:

Little late for that. The conspiracy theories have breached containment or (my favorite) are "in the wild."FincAg said:

I just wish people would stop quoting scottimus, Mr.Infectious, and OldAg89er. Makes it hard to ignore their bull**** when it's being quoted all over the placeFincAg said:

Still no word on whether the Chevron employee was positive for coronavirus. 2 other companies in the area sent employees home because of an employee with "flu-like symptoms". That will be one problem with people panicking is that this is peak flu season, so there are lots of flu-like symptoms around. I had my physical yesterday and spent quite a bit of time with my doctor. He said they're seeing a large amount of influenza right now, even in people who got their flu shot. Sounds like a bad year for flu.

Do we know what the CDC's requirements for testing are? I googled and didn't see anything.

This is stunning - how quickly this virus hit the upper tier of a nations government.

It's always about pouring more money down an inefficient hole.
Where did all of the billions that were spent over the last 20 years at the CDC and HHS go? Don't tell me we didn't get any tangible return out of the investment in all that labor.....
I don't disagree. I follow Singapore as a local stand-in for real data on the severity of the issue. The Straits Times is a good news source from Singapore. https://www.straitstimes.com/singaporeBeat40 said:
This is a bad year for the flu for sure.
But, they above is why I'm so pissed at China. If it would have been any other Asian country, we likely would have a trustworthy breakdown of mild/severe/critical/dead. That would have gone a long way towards preparation for everyone
We're 3 months into this thing and still do not have that reliable breakdown to tell us the true severity Of the virus. Couple that with the worst of videos going around and we're bound to get more panic than anything else. Hopefully we'll start getting reliable breakdowns that do not include any China numbers soon.
