Then another 3 months of testing for safety. Then the efficacy test takes 6-8 months ... so basically a year or so. Therapeutic drugs are being tested. He named it but I can't spell it. They should know if it works "Reasonably soon"... no numbers given.

Compromise reforms have been agreed upon in the YouBet household. I was picked up at the airport by Mrs. YouBet and we went straight to the grocery store. We spend about $450. Frankly, most of what we bought is normal stuff that we needed anyway. I used the list posted earlier in this thread. We are DINKs and therefore JIT grocery shoppers so we needed to stock up anyway.

We did not notice anyone else buying abnormally. The only shortage item we noted was Purell. They were completely out and I chalk that up to normal flu season.

Normal relations will resume this evening. Hard.

Once again saying really good things trying to calm hysteria and remind that a lot of the measures that we are talking about are "just in case" and please do not panic. Trump being very human and admitting that he originally asked about "is this just like flu?" mentions it is better/worse in some ways.

I'm actually pretty neutral on Trump... More or less, I'll vote third party in the general election, but I definitely hope that he wins against Bernie Sanders. I think he is a bad person...but a decent politician. Plenty I disagree with, plenty that I think is good.

Don't worry, I am not voting Bernie....there's no way in hell he wins the Dem nomination. It will be someone else that is able to take advantage of this CV thing. Most likely a woman.
