Interesting look at a small village in China. If you don't know who this guy is, he's a relatively well known guy worldwide thanks to his drinking abilities and that he's funny, likable, a good cook, and a good family man.

Sounds like the small villages in China are taking it upon themselves to quarantine. I could see things like this happening here if it gets bad enough. Though this would require some trust and I don't know if we have that here anymore.

Oh I agree. Problem is, due to the PC culture in our country, doing the right thing would have had the left howling and Hawaiian Obama judges warming up their pens.

When it was clear China lost control of the situation late last month, we should have shut down all international travel to the U.S. Americans could be brought home on charters, but put into quarantine for 21 days after getting back to American soil.

And get that wall with Mexico finished stat.

We will probably have another 50-100 cases today trickle in. At least.

He's changed his tune to only say adults but still that is an enormous amount of people. Let's hope it doesn't come back for a second round like the Spanish Flu. Given this things reinfection rate, it's not a good scenario for anyone.

I had the same thought driving into work Monday and looked at tickets. I'm not sure how crowded it usually is, but there were large blocks of seats at every price level. They're obviously worried too...as demonstrated by the nice big "WE'RE NOT FROM CHINA" on the main page.

Well at this point we clearly have to assume the absolute worst unless we have data to prove otherwise. I'm running with dicks falling off unless we have data to prove otherwise.

The Shen Yun show is definitely about China and Chinese Culture, but Shen Yun is a religious organization that is labeled as a cult by the Chinese government. The wiki page and rabbit holes you can head down are pretty interesting on the topic.
