As I said before. All tourist visas should be cancelled. All visits for any reason of non-US citizens should be revoked. Anyone leaving the country to anywhere will be quarantined upon their return.
Anyone entering the country from anywhere will be quarantined.
12-18 months for a vaccine. Can't stop it but can slow it down.
Canceling tourist visas would not violate the Constitution in any way.oldyella said:A little issue with your plan, it is called the Constitution. Not disagreeing at all, but it is THE governing law. How do we preserve The Constitution while protecting the masses from each other?AlaskanAg99 said:

Just watched an interview on Straits times website. Doctors are treating bad cases with Lopinavir/ritonavir (brand name Kaletra) and Interferon.

Just posting an update on my friend whose brother and sister-in-law have coronavirus they caught on the Princess cruise ship.
Her brother is doing well and should be out of the hospital soon.
Her sister-in-law is finally improving. She's still not doing well, but slowly improving.
I'm a little concerned that corona virus could overwhelm our healthcare system if so many people need hospitalization and HIV meds to get better.
Just praying it slows down or burns out.

Am I to understand the latest reporting on this thing that more people are "infected" with this thing than ever actually "show symptoms"?!?
Is that true?
If so...WTAF?!? This thing sounds made up to me...

the latest numbers I see right now...
81172 cases
2768 dead
30,258 recovered
so its looking more like the fatality rate is around 8%

The irony of that statement is outstanding!

This is an RNA virus like HIV, correct?
I'm worried it isn't necessarily "like the flu" ... what if it causes slow but chronic damage to organs and body systems and lessens life span in those that don't die suddenly?
Anyone seeing data to disprove this fear?

"The bottom line is this virus kills people... it kills our elderly and vulnerable... but this is not always the case - young people do die of this disease even in industrialized countries. People are looking at this saying that but in China they don't have this, they don't have that, etc. If I had COVID-19, I'd want to be treated in China. We'd go into these hospitals, how many ventilators do you have? 50-60. A scale we aren't used to seeing. How many ECMO systems do you have? 5. We don't have that in Europe. When we look at how dangerous this disease is, we have to be careful looking at the China data. China know how to keep people alive from COVID - they are super committed to it and they are making a massive investment in it. That is not going to be the case everywhere in the world.... It is a serious disease and I worry that people are going to look at the China numbers and get a false sense of security.

For those of you who didn't catch his press conference yesterday, Dr. Bruce Aylward (renowned expert who led the team of experts on the ground in China), had a few alarming comments about the seriousness of the disease. ( source: )Quote:
