My friend's brother and sister-in-law caught corona virus on the Princess ship in Japan. He's doing ok, but his wife isn't. She has pneumonia and she keeps getting worse.

They are Caucasian and in their 60s or early 70s.

That's making me worried. I doubt they smoke, they haven't been exposed to bad pollution, they are getting good medical care, they aren't Asian, and she may die.

I think it's a bad approach to keep everyone on the ship. They should quarantine them off of the ship. On the ship it's just going to spread to all of them.

Hard to tell much from that graph. That is showing percentage of positive tests per week, so it's not directly the number of people with the flu. However, I have heard that locally we have had 3-4x the number of cases from last year.
