Nope! Just heard on the news that the Americans on board are being brought back to the good old USA. In fact, right here to San Antonio.

I think a lot of the over prep by the military and civilian organizations is in relation to bringing back Americans for quarantine and treatment. That number of patients could be significant compared to the domestic population. Lots of Americans overseas.

Umm what evidence do we have of this?

You do know that the CDC has virtually ignored pneumonia, which has exponentially killed more Americans than anything including cancer, but has issued numerous press releases about measles that has not resulted in, by my count, but one death in the USA in the last 30 years?

Why do you think that is? Could it be that every member of the AAP and most of the CDC is paid heavily by the pharma industry that promotes vaccines?

Those two comparisons don't make sense. Pneumonia has a variety of causes. Measles doesn't.

Don't start the antivaxx nonsense on this thread please.

Yes. Pneumonia is a condition that can come from multiple types of infections.

Measles is caused by the rubeola virus. Edit - correction the paramyxovirus. Whatever. It's not caused by bacteria or fungus and it's not a common secondary complication.

Ironically a common complication of measles is pneumonia.

Start another thread for antivax nonsense and conspiracy theories.

Strange that Measles has not killed a single person in America in the past 30 years. It's as if something was developed in the 1960s and widely deployed over the next couple of decades that has virtually wiped measles out as a threat in this country.

I am wary of a vaccine since research has shown four of the trial vaccines for SARS actually increased mortality rate significantly for SARS.

You do know that the only recorded measles deaths have been of people whose immune systems were already compromised. Which is EXACTLY the same issue with pneumonia. Both are communicable diseases.

Read Levin's Liberty and Tyranny Chapter 4. Much like is done with AGW, diseases are used as a tool for control without any regard for actual metrics or science. The explosion of quadruple the vaccinations since 1983 with an actual decrease in non-preemie mortality since then proves the false premise.

I like to use lighter fluid. Squirt it on your hands and light it with a match. Only way to be sure the virus is dead.

SARS virus is similar to this new one so maybe its the same thing.

Japanese couple had coronavirus, showed no symptoms, vacationed in Hawaii for a week at a busy tourist area, and went back to Japan only to get tested positive.
